If you need to feel it and don't need all the space, I'd recommend going with the JL HO112 paired with a JL XD600/1v2. Hits like 2 12's but does take up a decent amount of space.
I too went with the Diode Dynamics set up for fogs and light bar from @4x4TruckLEDs.com. Used them quite a bit over the past few days for a couple road trips. Fog has been very dense at ground level due to wild temperature swings as of late. The amber really helps to cut through the snow and...
You can also wire in a relay to draw the necessary amperage off the battery while using any switch you want to enable the light. If you know nothing about relays, I would not recommend attempting. It is a very common way to get around the limitations of the overhead switches.
Signal should be tied into front kick panel speakers. Then to a LOC so you get the proper signal to the sub. If using the rear speaker, you have to use Forscan as suggested previously. I have a JL sub and JL amp with no issues. Wired as mentioned. Not sure if I've presented anything new or if...
I had recently removed mine as I cracked the corner of the top when it slipped out of my hand. Purchased a replacement through Ford which did not have the headliner. I used a heat gun to remove the headliner from the original top. I would apply heat and pull it at the same time. Took about 20-25...
In regard to issue 1 - I had wondered if that would be an issue due to the angle the top lift comes in. I had purchased the RollnJack for my hardtop and use the same cargo enclosure. I trimmed the support arms but never had any issues. But I had also purchased mine before it was approved to work...
For those with the FE and not wanting to mess with Forscan, you can always pick up a throttle controller. I picked up the Pedal Commander and of all my upgrades on the Bronco, it is probably my favorite.
Sean, Curious as to what came of this. Did Ford replace it. Similar occurrence happened to mine over the weekend. Stopped working and pretty sure it may have gotten wet.
I have standard posts. I've been very pleased with it. No issues, very stable. I jcurrently have the top sitting on it now. Has been sitting there for a couple months. I pull my classic bronco up underneath the RollNJack and hardtop sits over the hood of the classic. It's also easy to align the...
Will - The lid on the cargo enclosure does not prevent the use of a RollNJack. That is what I use. I trimmed off two - three inches off the length of the support bars and it works fine. It's a tight fit, but I've been using the RollNJack long before it was even approved for Bronco use.
Haven't gotten the Ford tune although I did pick up the Panda Module and plugs setup. It didn't do as much as I thought it would. I also have the Pedal Commander in addition to the Panda. I use the Pedal commander daily. I love that I can change it to sport with two taps on the button. Then two...
