I got the Bronco and the rack the same day. Three days later I got Covid and sat in my living room and loosely built the rear section and was able to install by myself. Rode that way for a month before having my 18 yo son build the front and I helped him install. We took the front roof panels...
I used carriage bolts to hold down my traction boards. They work great. Didn’t have to spend hundreds of dollars on base plates and mounts and special pins.
Rear rack install went well for doing it myself with Covid. Once the Covid is gone I’ll get some help with the front. I really like the modularity of this rack.
There’s a second “filler bar” you can remove to make room to remove front 3 panels. It’s decorative, so you can leave it off. I called, and asked a bunch of questions.

Removed 2.7, (2.3 has plenty of power), removed factory hitch (huge constraint) kept hardtop but lost the roof rack (going after market)
