An update to my issue: when the turbo started to fail, something got dislodged and was blocking the intercooler, which was causing an airflow restriction. The ABS code was a symptom of the PCM getting bad readings. My dealership was very good throughout the process, letting me know exactly...
'21 Badlands, had to have the turbo replaced at 17,500 miles. If the vehicle never went into limp mode for an ABS issue, it would have never been noticed because it was still producing upwards of 22 PSI of boost under load.
Vehicle is still in the shop for said ABS issue.
I cannot emphasize how much the extended warranty will be a godsend. I've already had mine in the shop for two electrical issues (of which I attribute to parking next to a Dodge and getting second hand electrical problems).

I had the same experience as you doing it with one person until I remembered I had a fast idle stick (2x4) lying around. The stick made the job easier.
Before I bought my Bronco, I had zero practical experience behind the wheel of a manual transmission, but having grown up watching my dad drive his '87 Ranger with the 5 speed and my uncle driving his '91 F-150 with a 5 speed, it wasn't like I didn't understand the mechanics of it. Save...
