I have this issue as well… will be taking to the dealer Also have an issue w the windows not always going down when you open the door and when you close it it pushes against the window seal, there is a gap and air leak

I wish… agree there looks to be room but they use the same mounting points as the running boards (in addition to the open holes)

The point is is just bought a new vehicle and had the dealer install a factory part. I shouldn’t have to paint my new car.
