Dang that sucks, a valet left my Bronco out of gear without the parking brake engaged in Nashville and it hit a bike rack on the hitch. The frame and the hitch were fine but it was only about 2-4 miles an hour.
One of the male ends broke or fell off and I replaced it with a reusable zip tie. Bought a pack for like $6. I just keep it on the window when its off and it seems to be easy enough. You cant even tell since it is covered by the soft top.
Ive got the MGV and I really enjoy them. Live in South Tennessee so it gets pretty warm down here. I just use the Global Window option on the fob and let it air out.
You cant have both OE versions, Ive taken off the Rock Rails to put the running boards on and you have to remove brackets from the rock rail to put the running boards on.
Im in South Tennessee and have the soft top, I use the global open to get the heat out but by the end of the street the AC is cold. It hasnt really bothered me all that much.
When I switched mine I went to Pioneer and had the same kind of sound. Ended up taking all them out, upgrading to B&O speakers in the dash and kicker and getting the JBL Soundbar for the back. The Ford wiring on the speakers with how they do bass is just awful.
Im not sure about the kit, but I bought one of these when I had my Ranger and they work just as well for the Bronco. Never needed anything other than these.

Never really paid attention till I was coming back from Nashville going about 80. And I saw this Wrangler going in and out of traffic to catch up to me. Once he got there he slowed down and got behind me and then later slowed down to about 60 until his exit came up. Not sure what he was doing.
Daily drive and have been since February. Fill up every 10-14 days. That being said gas was never free. So If at $2 more a gallon then before that is an extra $30-$40 extra each fill up, that comes out to around $800-$1000 extra. That isnt a big enough difference to me. Now if that was 4k more...
Ive got two 100% about a quarter mile from my house. They are .30 higher a gallon. So I paid 4.19 the last time I filled up. It isnt that bad of a deal to increase 2-3 mpg. On average with Ethanol I was getting 18 regardless of highway or city.
