I got a 'little Rusty'...
Rusty says, "It makes Papa's truck look like it's properly used. I like it!"
After 2 years (this week), I am noticing some wear spots unfortunately. The screws holding the mudflaps and a little corrosion on the bolt heads for the beauty rings on a couple of wheels.
The part sitting on a shelf in my garage still are my Rock Lights. I tried enlisting help to get them installed with no luck. Also - Not the highest priority; I'm not out at night enough to show off the underglow I was sure that I really needed.
Somebody waiting on their Bronco will be excited about your photos. They'll be absolutely sure that it's THEIR Bronco parked there on the right waiting to go on a rail car. I swear I could see MINE back in 2022 as it lingered there.
My 2-door roof leaked when I first got the Bronco. I opened it up and re-seated it and have not had an issue since - and have been through many auto car washes, rainstorms & snow. I will admit that I hear a lot of noise at speeds >40mh, which would seem to indicate that there may still be a...
"they are so satisfying to toggle"
They're that much more fun when things come on:
1) Air Horn <-- This one especially!
2) A-pillar lights
3) bumper mounted light bar
4) open
5) Oracle grill letters
6) open
In self-drive mode*, it still wants you to keep your hands on the wheel. A light touch may not be adequate. Turn off Lane Keeping and just let the Bronco 'wander'.
* - not available on all trim levels
My experience with this was well worth the trouble. The panels remove fairly easily and allow easy access to plug this in. I believe this to be the better solution, because you can actually turn it back on by simply pushing the button. It remembers the last setting and stays in that setting...
Same here, but with the 2-door, it blocks the window (lol). I picked these up on Amazon a while back. They mount on the roll bar in back. Too low for clothes, but still very handy.
I had a loan set up with my Credit Union before I went to pick up the Bronco and they matched the deal. There's been several people who have reported that their dealer wouldn't even let them take delivery without Ford Financing. (The things they think they can get away with! - lol)
Most of my driving is under 60 or so - but the wind noise increases significantly over 40. Even with the Hard top, it sounds like I have a window cracked all the time. I've always had the roof rack, so I'm not sure if removing that makes any difference. I put a light bar here for several...
With the MT, you'll have the added bonus of preventing a large population from being tempted to relieve you of it. Watch the next Amazing Race to see how people struggle with MT (lol). No one is learning how to drive these anymore.
Even my 2009 Challenger came standard with Auto; the MT was...
I had a "Charging System Error" that was introduced by trying to turn off the ASS with ForScan. Everything checked out - Alternator and Battery, so I just enjoyed the ASS being disabled for a while (this was finally corrected by Ford Service). I ended up getting the harness that plugs in...
