I've been having the same issues since the first day it updated. Buzz, static during camera use. Calls going mute. Default reset and came back. Updates have always been set to 1am. I'm just gong to continue to wait, and listen to FM radio.
I have a ghost sitting in my garage right now. It is an OK antenna, but a compromise antenna. I used it as rain cap antenna for running around town and fitting in the garage at one point when I ran GMRS. The SWR was very picky and took a bit to find a location it liked. Bottom line, if its all...
Another recommendation for the Trailgater. I have had mine for 3 months with zero rattle. Installs super easy and gives you 3 options for your suspension rake to make it level. I eat breakfast on mine almost every weekend at soccer games lol.
I've owned the CFX3 45 and currently using the VL45ProS. I no longer have the Dometic. The set thermostat control was giving me a small issue, and I dont think cooled as well as the Iceco. But it was very efficient. The Iceco I think keeps all my food and drinks evenly cold no matter where place...
Then granted again in 2020 as in the picture above as of todays FCC listing. They now ship with locked TX frequencies. Which can be unlocked/locked with "Notarubicons" instructions.
Anyways, to the OP enjoy your new radio! Chirp is great and works on both PC and Mac.
False. Like others have said, provide proof. Please stop spreading false facts. There is no FCC rule banning this radio. You will not get fined or get it trouble. I use my BFH8 on my local repeater in the 2m band with a roll up J-Pole that i keep the bronco when taking my kids to the park. Is it...
Looks good! I think you may not be hearing any chatter is maybe at the time of listening, no one may be transmitting. I know in my area, there is only a group that will chat on a repeater channel usually after 6 for about an hour. Other than that and the occasional construction workers in the...
Mine has done it also since day 1 idling parked. 3000 miles now and no issues. Feels just like a rough idle on a classic car. But I really dont think it is nothing to worry about.
I’m with you on this. That little magnet works extremely well. I stuck mine on the hartop lip inside the rear cargo area by the window until I decide where I want to put an external one. Might just leave it as it is. Keep it simple right.
Here is where I mounted mine and it fit perfect. Almost like the demensions were made for this unit and the cat5 port fully accessible. I just used some double sided tape as I was not sure if I liked it when I stuck it there. I still need to route everything and zip tie.
Just thought I'd pass this along. I was able to place my order on the Midland website just now if anyone is interested. Limited quantities so inventory looks to be fluctuating.
