The only programming that is needed is for the NAV for the folks that don’t already have NAV. In that instance you would need programming to add all features for NAV.
If you already have NAV it should all operate as normal.
I didn’t have NAV so if I want to activate it I will have to have it programmed which they do offer the service for it but will probably do it at a later date.
At this point no programming required. The included GPS antenna shows my location on the NAV tab but I can’t use any directions or any...
If would say if you haven’t already try going back through disconnecting everything from the screen and module and reconnect them firmly. This worked for me and no issues since then.
That I am not 100%. I’m not sure if that is based on any original equipment and modules that the vehicle was built with or if it’s based on the current module in the vehicle. That question will be better suited for someone that has a bit more knowledge on that process.
That part actually isn’t too bad. If you follow infotainment’s video it just takes a little prying to get the airbag out and once you get the one side out it is fairly easy to pull out the other side.
One thing to recommend is before fully putting the dash back together when the new screen is...
I got Infotainment’s 12” screen upgrade kit in today. For the most part everything is very straight forward and is not a hard install but is very tedious because of everything that has to come apart to get the new screen and apim module in there. It took me about 3 hours to complete. It would...
From it sounded like and watching the install they provide the antenna for the NAV and all that is needed is for it to be programmed but definitely will follow up about the splitter
I ordered it as well and I have a black diamond with the base equipment group so no NAV. Talking with them they said it is plug and play with if I don't want the NAV. I may have it programmed later for it but didn't want to pay for their rented tablet for the programming.
Originally got them directly from Method and were used for roughly 11,000 miles, none of them off road. Took them off my previous bronco and am not going to put them on the current one. Asking $800 prefer local pickup and can meet within a reasonable distance.
