Great answer and thanks for the info! I've always used Blackstone for engine oil analysis over the years, but not gear oil, etc. I'll have to look into Polaris. Didn't think I would need to consider break in oil on the drivetrain too... Appreciated!
I'm not sure if this has been asked already and I apologize if so. Have any of you sent in your fluids to a testing company like Blackstone to see what the results are by chance...? I'm noticing a lot of worrisome owners and I am now wondering myself when to do this procedure. Just wondering if...
I kind of liked the spare having it's own arm on my '92, (Made cleaning the tailgate easier), however with it down, I'm sure it was a pita for shorter people to reach in to grab items in the back...?
I'm interested in something like this too, and also have some of the above concerns about fitment. I am in AZ and am looking for something that is not mesh. I have a 2 dr. so a soft top is not in the cards. This is more for keeping the sun off while off-roading. Most of the questions I have...
I used a hacksaw and trimmed mine down so it looked a bit better. I kinda wish the bolts were black to match the flaps on the back side. I'm thinking I'll probably touch up paint the heads with some black paint at some point.
I was following my Wife home on the freeway after taking delivery of my Bronco, she was driving her BMW Coupe and had a truck in front of her drop sofa cushions out the back. She hits the brakes as I was looking at my screen in the dash. (One of those, "Looked away for a second moments") Alarm...
I'm not 100%, but see if your dealer added some crappy alarm or something to it and then added it in to your final price. Looks very "aftermarket".... Could also be a third brake light "blinker"...
I believe this is the same company that makes the Ford ones, they just don't say "Bronco" on them. I have used this brand for years and in the AZ sun they last for a few years minimum and are quality made. https://www.carcoverworld.com/covercraft-uvs100-ultraviolet-shield
A couple of things...
If Ford was paid for the truck from insurance why were they able to take it back from you?
They have already been paid back and the vehicle is a write off. If anything it would be an insurance company thing, no?
I had a truck stolen from me several years ago and it was...
Oof, so sorry you had to go through that. Glad you are ok, sad to hear someone did not... Glad to see our vehicles will hold up to that kind of force... Make sure to take care of yourself as well mentally. Sometimes the results can affect you later...
That is the stock Ford rock rail I assume? If so, it looks as though it fits great with them...? This was really my biggest pause is just to make sure it works with these, although it looks like that bend in the middle helps with that. Thanks for the pics!
I would be interested in these as well, just need to confirm if they fit with the factory rock rails on the Badlands trim without having to cut a hole in them...? Thanks!
I give you respect for appreciating your vehicle and using it for what it was made for! Around here it seems that any H2's still running around have 18" lift kits and have never seen dirt, obnoxiously loud stereo's, 22's and every conceivable part chromed that can be...! Glad to see you are...
Looks like there is a rubber cover on the hold down bolt. You may need to use a ratchet/socket on it to loosen it a bit, then lift it and rotate it and tighten it back up? I know on the f-150 it has a tab you lift up and then you can lift and rotate the wiper arm. It looks as tho' the Bronco...
