  1. 4000 miles in and it's nagging me for an oil change

My oil change was a bit less than 5000 miles too. I attribute it to too many short trips. I expect more miles for the next oil change as I've taken the Bronco on a few road trips since the change...
  2. FordPass app vehicle location issue

    Is your refrigerator running?
  3. My 2024 Big Bend

    Black looks bitchin!
  4. Flat Towing W/ Capable Bumper

I bought them on Amazon. Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C6PMZMW?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 Note I had to sand them as these were just a little too big, and the 1" ones would be a little too small...
  5. Flat Towing W/ Capable Bumper

Install looks great. Had some similar thoughts about rescue maneuvers using the blue ox rig. Was thinking I might install the inserts that came with the base plate fixtures, and buy the mating parts from the towbar and attach to some form of soft shackle (believe I've seen these on sale on the...
  6. Battery Charging During 1 Month of Not Using

I plan to let the Bronco sit for around a month while we're on vacation. Knowing I have an AGM battery, and having killed one before in the RV, I know I need a charger on it. That said, since I park the Bronco in the driveway under my car port, I don't want to run an extension cord out to the...
  7. Alpines installed!

Although not an audio expert, I did find that the original programmable amplifier settings on my non-B&O factory sub in my 23 Big Bend were inadequate. When I did the same swap as you with infinity speakers, I also reprogrammed with Forscan for 2 ways in the new speakers as well as ensuring the...
  8. Heavy Duty Cabin Air Filter?

I suspect rodents. My wife's CRV had a similar cabin air filter issue and we actually had acorn pieces in the blower (those were fun to fish out after hearing the noise they made). Strongly concur with rodent prevention. In our case, we now have a screech owl on premises..
  9. Told my daughter not to lose momentum going thru the mud

The Power Washer is your best friend for this!
  10. LOW PRICE ALERT - Center Console Saddle Storage For 2021-2024 Bronco Automatic

I have these and really like them (didn't use the stickers). So little storage available in the 2 door at least and every little bit helps - especially on a road trip.
  11. Programming third key fob?

Concur. Had 2 failed attempts until I got up to speed :sneaky:
  12. "Safe" tire pressure....

Last time I drove in sand I aired down to 18. Airing down was very common at the Outer Banks and air refill stations were nearby for airing back up. Provided good peace of mind and had no issues even in the fluffy sand.
  13. Peavine Mountain Rescue with my Bronco Wildtrak

When I pulled my bumper off and redid these for flat towing, they were connected to the frame...
  14. FordPass 5

    Keeps those software engineers employed...
  15. IAG mud flaps

Had the same issue with filing one of the holes with mine as well... Overall like the flaps though.
  16. Any issues with windshield tint?

I opted not to get mine tinted/clear ceramic coated. With the windshield being so vertical, I figured a replacement was likely down the road and my tint job would be wasted. Also, I just use a sun shade when parked, and didn't see the need for tint while the vehicle was on...
  17. For bike carrier - what size extender do I need to clear the spare tire, 7”, 12” ?

Nice! Have something similar for flat towing the Bronco. Nice to know it can do double duty for the bike rack!
  18. Anyone else miss a hand brake?

I do miss it. You could tell it was actually engaged quite easily without an alert on the dash. I have had quite a few instances coming out of neutral tow where the parking brake has been reported on. When this happens, I cautiously open the door, engage the brake and listen, and disengage...
  19. Rear cargo mat? and back seat protection...

I have a 2 door. Have the stock Ford rubber rear mat and really like it (has a curved edge to drain to the rear tailgate in back that saved me from a leaky cooler once). Have the Mabett seat covers for when the seats fold down for added cargo space. Haven't worried too much about side wall...
  20. Static Window Tint

I live in Texas where it's hot as well. Went with the street legal tint for the side windows on my 2 door, and the darkest available for the MIC and rear windows. Had the ceramic tint installed. Seems to help when hot, and adds more privacy to whatever is in the cargo and back seat areas...
