Looks like a great option. I would do this if I didn't already have a full custom hardwired lighting solution under my steel enclosure lid.
Now my passenger Oracle flush taillight is freaking out and only portion of it is not coming on. Doesn't seem like a wiring issue so far, and wondering if...
Not many things hurt more in life. So sorry you had to do this so suddenly. He is not in pain anymore and I'm sure we was the goodest of boys! I've been there, and it sucks. Hang in there.
Enjoy the trips the Bronco takes you on, and remember this fondly as quality time with Thor.
🙏
Wow, such crappy repair job too.
Sounds like the only complete solution is to litigate with selling dealer that did things illegally.
Also sucks, because that is an issue with the stealership, so there wouldn't be anything for Ford to get involved with anyways, other than their dealer rep's...
Cost friendly option is Eibach's adjustable coilovers. And lifting it does not void any warranty. Ford in fact wants you to lift it which is why they imprinted "Lift Me Baby!" into the wheel well. ;)
Cheapest option would be to install a spacer lift on front only to accommodate the added...
Bummer, this last update made all my stuff work much faster and smoother! It's Apple Carplay has never connected so fast and reliably. Sucks that is helps some and hurts others. Hope you get it taken care of. ✌
I do all my own DIY stuff and have made racks for friends rigs. Still playing with some super low profile designs for the Bronco. Any pics of your DIY rack? ✌️
Lock washer won’t help. You need a fender washer to spread the load when tightened and to keep it flat, that way it doesn’t catch the edge of the screw and push it away. ✌️
It doesn't matter, but just to clarify, early 2021 Broncos had MIC 1.0, but after they halted production, all following 2021 and on Broncos had MIC 2.0.
I have an early '21 with MIC 2.0, which is why most 21's sat on "dirt mountain" for so long.
I'm super curious to see what you guys do with...
I've been wondering the same thing. The team that modified this for the Fire use definitely doesn't need a convertible SUV, so I'm assuming they bolted it directly through the hardtop.
Looks great like that, but obviously we would loose functionality of removable panels if we did the same.
I've done it with my 4 door many times, very secure, no problem ✌
I'll see if I have a photo to attach of it.
Here's one with front and mid on, but i've done it in every configuration.
It turns the Bronco into a pickup truck
