I did get and order the door delete kit just cant find any information on where to best mount the switches and the harness install seems simple but having issues with that portion. I emailed RSE last week, no response yet.

They are wider than the factory rock rails. Big enough to stand on to open the top comfortably. I drove my dually today so i cant measure but they are almost as wide as the stock 35's

going through my inventory today, i was in a panic until i figured out the rear bracket really isnt curved like the picture because i want to install tomorrow....

Did you get an answer on the delete switch location? Installing mine tomorrow but didnt get that info...

Just diving into this thread, I got mine yesterday and will install tomorrow. They do have a power switch (on/off) and also operation switch for when you dont have the doors on. Im going to post an installation question shortly.

Its my understanding and based on how they are built they are functioning rock slides with steps that deploy when you open the door. They probably weigh 60-70 #s each

I had a "hoist a top" bracket for my Jeep top and have a ceiling mounted winch in my shop. Back under it, unbolt/set the bracket and putt it up to the ceiling out of the way. Winch is Harbor Freight so it was cheap but perfect for the application.

I drove a dealer demo in AZ and it had a winch bumper, it interfered with the front camera or sensors and while driving kept beeping. salesman couldnt figure it out...

For Jeep, AMP sells a relay, just click the lock button twice with the doors off to retractor deploy

For the Jeep, Amp Research power steps sells a simple relay. When you take the doors off the steps stay down, press the lock button twice and steps retract.... simple technology
