  1. Ford cargo security drawer installed in a 2-door Bronco with rear seat delete

I did not. In fact, I ended up removing the drawer system entirely (so heavy!) amd building my own box system out of aluminum rail and right angle connectors (so light!). There is a left and right box, and then the two are joined in the middle by short cross members, and the 1/2 plywood with...
  2. Ford cargo security drawer installed in a 2-door Bronco with rear seat delete

25" to the underside of the frame/rollbar. 32" to the underside of the roof.
  3. Surprisingly good MPG (7MT)

Checking in.. 35s with 2.3 manual, at 3k altitude.. Don't think I've ever seen it above 20 mpg. More often it is 18+/- running 89.
  4. Negotiating for free accessories / options?

You would feel even more dumb to lose your first new car over something as minor as a disagreement over free carpet. Also, "dum"?
  5. 2 Door Badlands Sasquatch - Hopefully built to last

@Tank You and I probably have the only two (and best looking) 2 door broncos in this area.
  6. 2-Door Bronco Raptor Rendered

Right up until the dealership adds an ADM when it is finally delivered. We've seen that over and over on this forum. I hope you do, I really do. But there are many many counter examples.
  7. 2-Door Bronco Raptor Rendered

Yeah, I see that. I don't have experience with the Gt350/GT500s, but I do have a GT3, and I'm not about to try and upgrade my daily Cayman S to match. It will never be the same. The platforms are so different. With that said, there are plenty of people who DO take a regular 991 911, redo the...
  8. 2-Door Bronco Raptor Rendered

You wouldn't start with a 2.7 or Sasquatch, because you are throwing it all away for race spec parts anyways. The Raptor has the same axles, so you keep that, but get a crate V8 engine for 7-10k and redo the entire suspension for 5-10k. Sport modes are a Forscan software upgrade. Seats are an...
  9. 2-Door Bronco Raptor Rendered

Looks just like my existing Base with aftermarket upgrades. Buy a Base Base, and take the 50-70k you just saved over the Raptor and do the suspension upgrades and add leather seats. Engine excepted.. but even so you could probably still do an engine swap to a true V8 with that 50-70k price...
  10. RAPID RED Bronco Club

I never posted here back in August when I first picked up my 2dr Base MT. Here are some photos over the past few months: And the obligatory "as delivered" photo:
  11. Ford cargo security drawer installed in a 2-door Bronco with rear seat delete

I have not. Perhaps Forscan but I haven't tried that yet. No windows laptop. The ford dealer refused to disable the warning light, stating it was a safety issue. There is probably a way to create a custom wiring harness "loopback" plug, but that is beyond my skill set. For now, I just ignore...
  12. Ford cargo security drawer installed in a 2-door Bronco with rear seat delete

The top is pretty sturdy with the 3/4 ply. It does a good job of distributing any point pressure loads. It would probably be fine for sleeping on, from a load perspective. I personally wouldn't do it because there just isn't enough room in the 2dr to stretch out in any direction, but for a kid...
  13. GoRhino DSS Steps / Sliders installed on 2021 Bronco Badlands

Yes! This was a huge disappointment when I couldn't get these for a 2 door.
  14. Hardmounted ARB dual compressor with quick connect port installed

Ah, so that's what they (the installers) meant! When the hardware was ordered last month, I think only one relocation kit was ordered but the dual compressor requires two. The shop did say that they have to wait for the second to arrive and then I could come back to finish installing it. I...
  15. Hardmounted ARB dual compressor with quick connect port installed

It's possible. Might be a tight fit. That would save you from having to run an air intake line for sure:
  16. Hardmounted ARB dual compressor with quick connect port installed

I just tested. There is a significant amount of noise and vibration. It sounds and feels just like sitting in one of those short range prop commuter planes, waiting on the taxiway. 😀 If I did this everyday, then I would probably want rubber shock mounts or something. But for occasional use for...
  17. Hardmounted ARB dual compressor with quick connect port installed

They did warn me about that. Fortunately, that's not my driving style. It's more sand/beaches and crappy rough forest roads where a lower PSI makes the next 20 miles livable. The compressor is at least 24" off the ground, and I can't see myself doing that sort of water fording (right now at least).
