  1. Ford CEO Farley Says Dealers Who Price Gouge Could Get Fewer Vehicle Allocations

The guy from town and country estimates a total of 180,000 reservations waiting to be fulfilled. At the current monthly production rate at the factory, it'll take another 18 months to produce those broncos. That's assuming all is smooth sailing. Now, Ford is promising Raptor models to be...
  2. TWO Broncos - which one should we keep?

Still no response from the OP. Probably at the cancer ward asking which hairdo she should go with.
  3. Bronco Raptor vs Jeep 392 Comparison [TFL]

Yeah, those are the only things left to add to a 392 XR because it's already fully loaded with every other option as standard. Hence why there's not much to scroll through on the build it section of the Jeep site. And I agree about turbos. I opted for the 2.0 turbo over the 3.6 because it has a...
  4. Bronco Raptor vs Jeep 392 Comparison [TFL]

That's some pair of rose colored glasses you've got there. Since I don't own a pair, here's a clearer viewpoint... For $80,685 one can own a 392 Rubicon XR which is a fully loaded model with some additional mopar factory parts included. For $69,995 one can own a stripped down Bronco Raptor...
  5. Bronco Raptor vs Jeep 392 Comparison [TFL]

Yeah, what little sense of community to be found on this forum is grossly overshadowed by divisiveness. It's why so many helpful members disappear after finally getting their broncos. They don't want to deal with the negativity that does nothing more than defeat the point of bringing like-minded...
  6. Shadow Black Bronco Raptor (Render/Edit) - incl Cactus, Cyber, Velocity

It looks somewhat better, but than again, it's a view of the shadowed side on a sunny day. Good job of tweaking that pic though. (y)
  7. Raptor vs Badlands Sasquatch comparison

The fact that he made it a point to double back on himself and clarify that he was referring to the housing and not the internals seemed very clear to me. No, it's not the same as seeing a parts breakdown on both the regular and Raptor racks, but it was still quite telling. He's obviously not...
  8. Might wait for MY23

Yeah, do the math. At least 160,000 reservations to fulfill, and just shy of 9200 broncos produced in all of December. If production continues at that rate, it'll be another 18ish months for them to catch up. The guy from Town and Country, whose quite a player in the Ford arena, mentioned in a...
  9. Raptor vs Badlands Sasquatch comparison

A video interview with one of the Ford performance team members, who specifically stated what I was simply reiterating. Skip to the 30 minute mark, which is about the beginning of the interview that is centered around the rolling chassis. Another sorta questionable part is the end, when the guy...
  10. Raptor vs Badlands Sasquatch comparison

It would be nice if they did something that actually addressed the steering weaknesses, especially with the increased tie rod angle and leverage forces that come with 37's. All they did do is add thicker rod ends, but the thin threaded adjusting point on the shaft is still the weak point. They...
  11. Welp, it happened. I got DUCKED!

I didn't say it was anything new. It's the same tired crap that never ends, because theirs always someone breathing life into it. Like how you're filling large gaps and coming to your own negative conclusion. Also, it pays to remain focused in this specific thread to the here and now. This...
  12. Welp, it happened. I got DUCKED!

Personally, I have no plans on buying a bunch of rubber ducks to place on vehicles I find in my travels that I think are cool. But I appreciate the positive vibes and sense of community that it was derived from. It's actually the kids of Jeep owners who are doing most of the ducking. It's...
  13. Welp, it happened. I got DUCKED!

Webasto is the company that makes the hard tops for Jeeps and Broncos. Soft tops come from Bestop. The vehicle manufacturer dictates the design and specs for the top, and Webasto simply bangs them out. Ford wrongfully blamed Webasto for the whole hardtop debacle, rather than simply admitting...
  14. Idea for Ford Motor Company about hard top constraint

Watch the video. Nothing was left unlatched. It's simply a part of how Ford had the soft top designed due to how the back lifts up to somewhat increase access into the cargo area. They should've gone with a rear roll up window like Jeep, which allows the sides to be more secured.
  15. Rough Country 5” Lift Kit for Bronco

Unfortunately, short arm ifs and run of the mill cv axle joints require a diff drop to prevent the axle shaft from exceeding its operating angle. The last litebrite video showed how easy the cv joint lost its balls due to a simple 2" lift and 37's.
  16. Has anyone seen this? Frozen windows

Exactly! You, good sir, are the very 1st post made by someone who actually watched the video before posting. That makes page 1 completely useless. The video was a bit disheartening to watch. In the end, the fix was a healthy scraping with a trim removal tool to free the window. Problem is, how...
  17. RC diff-drop kit arrived!

It looks like what came with a BBQ that I had to assemble.
  18. Interesting Video / Tie Rod Upgrade?

I wasn't speaking of litebrites bronco, rather the other one on a 2" lift and 37's that showed that the tie rods aren't the only weak link when lifting one of these Broncos.
  19. Interesting Video / Tie Rod Upgrade?

Kevin is an amazing driver! His level of skill behind the wheel easily makes a difficult trail look like a moderate one. The less experienced driving of the the Jeep on 35's and the Bronco on 37's made for a more level playing field. And speaking of the Bronco on 37's, the cv axle joints...
