I've always gotten a 3.73 axle because the difference in fuel economy is minimal on an F-150 and is easily overcome by driving habits. My 22 Ranger consistently gets 23 mpg in winter months and 24.5-25 in Summer, 3.73 axle. Others differ, but it may be driving habits or local fuel.
Glad you like it. I had ordered a 2dr Badlands 2.3 stick as well, but gave up the order and bought a Ranger, couldn't wait any longer. Same engine but auto. So far mileage has been positively surprising. I got 28 mpg hwy on a trip, average 20-21 around town, and 17 towing about 3,000 lbs. It's a...
I can get you one tomorrow for $15k over MSRP, 8 to choose from. When I bought my Ranger I explained how I waited 9 months, no build date, then gave up. My salesman pointed and said take your pick. Damn if he didn't have a Bronco almost exact to my build, including color.
I canceled my Bronco order and bought a 22 Ranger. Built in same factory, but everything is coated in black epoxy paint, rear axle and driveshaft too. Maybe because they are rushing to push Broncos out? No trouble getting factory tow package or tech package either. Surface rust wouldn't bother...
Well I gave up on my Bronco, and got a cyber orange splash Ranger, not as awesome off road as a Bronco, but it's a better fit for me. Towing is up to 7500 lbs, but I wish they offered the 7spd manual trans from the Bronco, not a fan of automatics, but I must admit, it works well especially...
After 9 months and the realization that my small dealer had shit allocations, I gave up and bought a new Ranger at the end of the day, I need a new vehicle that will tow, at some point I had to be a realist.
At least with the Ranger I got everything I wanted, to color and all, and more options...
I don't know why the Bronco's production has such issues, Ranger is made is made in the same plant, no complaints, mine is perfect.
VB Badlands 2Dr is what I had on order since last Summer. Needing a tow vehicle forced my hand and I went with the Ranger. After a week I'm loving it.
I patiently waited for my Bronco but finally relented and purchased a Ranger. I sold my pickup 6 months ago and not being able to tow is killing me. The dealer MD I purchased from had 6 Broncos on the lot of each with a ADM of $15k. No thanks, I'm good!
I love the new Ranger, awesome truck.
I cancelled my Bronco, I bought a cactus gray Ranger crew with the Soash package and graphics, should have it next week, it's in transit. I couldn't wait anymore, I need a vehicle.
They sent that memo because I canceled my order yesterday for my Bronco and bought a Ranger, lol. I can't play anymore I need a reliable vehicle to tow for deliveries, I'm not hot on travelling 1100 miles in a 1995 Aerostar pulling motorcycles on a trailer.
The back door comment here is, if you ordered in 2021 you may possibly see your vehicle as a 2023 model. What about those who ordered in late 2021, like me in Aug 2021, 2024…?
Nope, my business shares space in an automotive glass shop. They have to set targets front and rear of vehicle and literally move the windscreen while set in urethane to get the best position. Then do offsets through the scanner to calibrate. I was hoping my base Badlands wouldn't have this...
