  1. Built Ford Bronco Raptor Tough

Depends on whether it's a deer or a 'Deere.
  2. The Look Back

I need a different option: I don't look back really, but I do look forward to it whenever I return to a parking lot. Especially true when the parking lot is large and full, because nothing stands out in a crowd (of vehicles) like a Cyber Orange Bronco!
  3. From a local shop

Okay... So, if this vehicle were a character in the Cars movie franchise, who would the voice actor be? 1. Drake 2. Elton John 3. Someone else? ___
  4. RECALL - MIC Hard Top Glass Separation (2/28/24 NHTSA # 24510/24V142)

nhtsa.gov has a list of recalls for all motor vehicles, not just Ford. Just type in your VIN.
  5. Do You Really Need AWD? Settling The Winter Tire Debate (great video by Engineering Explained)

Looks similar, but on wheels and pavement instead of shoes and ice. We used it first.
  6. Just another reason for additional driving lights... headlights covered in snow / ice

My car has headlight washers. They trigger with the windshield washers. I don't drive it in the snow if I can avoid it, but they have worked well with dirt / mud when the need arose.
  7. Do You Really Need AWD? Settling The Winter Tire Debate (great video by Engineering Explained)

No, he didn't. Van Halen never made an album titled Rush. You just misspelled the eponymous 5150. In my neck of the woods, we used to call that bumper-hanging activity "skitching", which I suppose might have been a portmantow for ski-hitching. I cannot confirm, deny, or condone that activity...
  8. It’s MY25, your Bronco is getting a refresh, what are your most desired changes/adjustments?

I second the rear seat heat, along with F/R seat cool. 360 mode that doesn't turn off when I shift from R to 1 (or "D", if you like a slushbox) at parking speeds. (my garage is pretty full) Automatic use of 360 camera inputs to record up to 1 hr of security content with motion-driven...
  9. Daily Driving: What addition to your Bronco do you use most?

Cup holder/arm rest/storage bin for the middle-back seat. Easy to remove when transporting 5; easy to install again; solves the no-cup-holders-for-you backseat problem (MGV seats). Mud flaps. Ski rack Bike rack for tow hitch
  10. What Broncos had / have manual transmission and heated seats (other than Heritage)?

Quick note: heated seats are front-row-only. I don't know why the Bronco designers didn't figure out how to heat the rear seats when so many other designers both in and outside of Ford did, but there you are.
  11. I (you) wish the Bronco came with…?

A feature whereby the front-view camera would stay active when driving forward until I exceed 5 mph, regardless of how many times I shift into R or 1 (MT). Make it so that when I turn the engine off, the dashboard goes dark without waiting for me to open a door. A middle roof panel (4dr) that...
  12. What rig / vehicle did you give up to get your Bronco?

The dealer was kind enough to rid me of my 2013 Toyota Sienna LE.
  13. Bronco started by ITSELF!

I already posted that mine did something similar, admittedly by my mistake. I think you are ignoring the fact that these vehicles don't behave like vehicles made as recently as a decade ago or later. In my case, every vehicle I owned previously required a key, and that key needed to be turned...
  14. Bronco started by ITSELF!

Stranger things have happened. This happened to me once. I was mounting a ski rack on the thing and suddenly the engine fired up. That's what I get for trying to get things done too quickly, I suppose. Worth noting, though, that I had a lot of problems with the APIM early on; there were times...
  15. What’s wrong with these pics?

So... you have an Outlander. Hope Mitsubishi doesn't hear about it.
  16. Dealer just told me banks open Monday, deposits are now non-refundable.

In some states, deposits are refundable by law until you drive off the lot. YMMV. That dealership sounds like a wonderful purchase experience just waiting to happen.
  17. Press the Start-Stop Button 120 Times To Disable Factory Mode, Ford Tells Technicians

They could definitely do a better job with this "feature". When you get to 120 and Factory mode is blown away, they could turn on the headlights, have the horn sound, jiggle the steering wheel and maybe even squirt the windshield washer a bit if you do it really well. You know, to let you know...
  18. What made you pick your trim of Bronco?

My requirements: MGV: no carpeted floors. Ski season can get muddy. Roof rack (ski season) and trailer hitch (boat, bikes). 4 doors (3 passengers plus gear). Lux (heated steering and several other items) And that was pretty much it. The roof rack dictated no Squatch (pre '22 rear sta-bar...
  19. The Difference Between New Bronco Owners and Everyone Else. So true LOL

Wrong. Our Broncos are the celebrities. We're just the chauffeurs.
  20. Back to the Bronco ... initial thoughts from a 7-time Bronco owner

Question for you: I downloaded a PDF manual at one point, and it was different from the electronic manual in the car and online (it showed as a different version). That turned out to be a problem because it described the under-dash fuse box as being on the wrong side. Does your manual show it...
