This is awesome, thanks for sharing! New Jersey native here, who is now spoiled living out west. I just was back home over Labor Day and hiked part of the Appalachian Trail that runs thru NJ. So many hidden gems that people often don’t think about, but it’s quite a diverse state in terms of...
Haha awesome! Yeah our pup now knows the word "Bronco" and gets amped every time we mention it. That rutted spot you hit is where the Chevy was stuck. Luckily, if you turn right just before it, there's a cut thru that passes another camp site. Had to fold my mirrors in for the Bronco to fit...
Nice! We camped with our pup at a yellow post site right by that water crossing last week. There was a Chevy Tahoe stuck on the trail for over 24 hours, so it got pretty hairy trying to get around them while several folks (and the PD) attempted recovery.
I like the idea of the Rockworks bolts. Question - did your tonneau cover come with the bolts needed for install? I just got mine and the instructions say "use factory bolts", but it did not come with any. Since I have a soft top, I do not have the bolts needed.
That looks awesome! I’ll have to upgrade at some point. We just completed a 3k mile trip from CA to PA with 2 Ebikes in tow using an Amazon purchased rack. Honestly I was amazed - zero problems, so worth every penny. I’ll do a full write up on the trip when I get some time 👍🏼
Here’s a link...
I bought a Draw-Tite hitch at e-trailer because the extension is built in (to clear the SAS spare tire): https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer_Hitch/Draw~Tite/DT37GR.html
And, here's the bike rack. I like this one because I don't need any extra parts to fit my step-thru e-bike. It just takes some...
Nice! I just installed a trailer hitch on mine for the e-bikes. Got a decent rack on Amazon that will surely get tested on our 3k+ mile road trip this month.
Awesome trip, thanks for sharing! I'm about to embark on a 3k+ mile road trip from CA to the East Coast in August in my BaseSquatch. What PSI did you run on the those Goodyears? Curious if it makes any difference in MPG.
Awesome trips and pics! I’m planning a cross country trip in August. Curious- what PSI are you finding works best for on road and off road in the Goodyears? I’ve been experimenting quite a bit and just looking for a sweet spot. I’m in the 4 door and 39 PSI on road is rough but eeks just a bit...
Just called UP - it says East St. Louis, IL and departing 6pm tonight. Estimated arrival at Industry pushed back 24hrs to Mar 3. Winter storms probably delaying things a bit.
Not sure if it's saying anything different from your end.
