  1. 2021 Bronco Lease Residuals (including Heritage Edition!)

As others have alluded to, these numbers are horrible for leasing (which was to be expected). The goal has generally been to get your lease at or below the 1% of MSRP target, and these numbers are nowhere close to that (even if you consider that some folks will be getting below MSRP...it likely...
  2. Are ALL Dealers Asking for the Added $500 Deposit ? ? ? ?

Actually that is incorrect. Have you actually ordered vehicles in the past? I have, and I’ve never once put down more than $100 (and I’ve had vehicles that cost quite a bit more than the Bronco); often it’s been done with no money down. Maybe your experience has been different than mine.
  3. Manual & 2.3 Ecoboost

I'm getting the 2.3 w 7MT, but only because I want the manual transmission. If you've never owned a vehicle with more than 4 cylinders, all I can say is that you're really missing out! I'm not suggesting you can't have fun in a 4 banger, but there's just a different feel to driving a V8...
  4. Stephens Auto "Roll-Call"

Not my graphic, but I copied it from this site previously:
  5. Stephens Auto "Roll-Call"

I thought the plant where the Bronco is being produced also produces the Ranger. The last I saw, the total capacity of the plant is 5300 units per week. If that's the case, it will be split between the two (not sure what the split will be, but it certainly won't be 100% towards the Bronco). If...
  6. Stephens Auto "Roll-Call"

Date-Stamp: 7/14 Date Switched: 10/20 Location: Blacksburg, VA
  7. Sasquatch, to do or not to do? That is the question!

A couple of comments: For an on-road mostly rig, I cannot imagine buying Kings that you have to deal with rebuilding at set intervals. A basic shock is plenty for most folks. Perhaps your usage is different (from your description it did not seem so). Lots of people will say their rig is...
  8. Your first Bronco, or repeat offender?

I've owned several Broncos over the years, some 5.0 some 5.8. All were fun in their own way. Black one was my first, the red one was my tallest after the SAS.
  9. Is This A New Mystery (Green) Bronco at Super Celebration East? (Not the Overland Area 51)

Part of me wonders if the (nice) brown interior we saw earlier was a hint at a Filson edition of the Bronco. I've been out of the loop for a while (the crazy delays are putting a damper on my Bronco enthusiasm), so maybe that's already been addressed.
  10. Is This A New Mystery (Green) Bronco at Super Celebration East? (Not the Overland Area 51)

I'm not sure how I feel about the white top, but the black hard top lines up nicely with black accents.
  11. Calling all those who own and wheel a JL and are considering the Bronco...

Good to know. What kind of mpg are you getting during regular driving compared to when loaded down and towing? Just curious to hear some real world numbers for the 2.3.
  12. Calling all those who own and wheel a JL and are considering the Bronco...

Fair enough; for high speed desert driving, IFS wins. If you're off-road and happen to break something, my experience has been that a solid axle vehicle can be pieced back together enough to at least limp home, whereas when I've seen IFS failures they can be more catastrophic. I certainly...
  13. Calling all those who own and wheel a JL and are considering the Bronco...

I have to wonder how much off-road experience you have with the above comment. I find it hard to believe you honestly think the IFS Bronco is going to be better off-road than the SFA Jeep straight from the factory. I'm not saying the Bronco won't be a great vehicle (and I hope that it is), but...
  14. Price Difference Comparison: 2021 Bronco Pricing For All Trims (2-Door vs 4-Door)

Just a note -while the base 2 door Wrangler Sport does not come with AC (it's optional), the base 4 door Wrangler Sport does in fact include AC. Just mentioning to ensure the comparisons are accurate.
  15. Bronco Reliability Rating Battle

The problem is that true reliability often isn't known until many years after a vehicle is released. I can remember when the Jeeps with inline six motors were new, when the 80 series Land Cruiser was introduced, and when the Ford 7.3 came out, and folks didn't realize how reliable those were...
  16. Lease rates for 2021 Bronco?

I wouldn't count on a low-low lease (or even a "good" lease)...Ford just doesn't have strong lease pricing for their trucks (and presumably the Bronco) compared to some manufacturers.
  17. Buy, Lease, or Wait?

For a lease, the first production run can offer a sweet spot as the finance companies might overestimate the future value (such was the case with the Jeep Gladiator where they greatly overestimated the vehicle's future worth and some folks got smoking hot lease deals before the lenders lowered...
  18. Base 2021 Bronco starting price

Not sure about the 2 doors, but I do know the 4 door Wrangler (even the base Sport model) comes standard with AC...it's not an extra added option anymore. When I bought my 2 door I did have to pay up for AC, but that was back in 2015.
  19. 6 year loans "average" now

That might work if you're several years in, but the shorter the time you have owned the vehicle, the less time your invested money has had to work. And let's be honest, the difference between a zero percent interest loan and the going rate of <3% right now isn't exactly going to give you a lot...
  20. 6 year loans "average" now

If you do that, like ChrispyKC said, you'll find yourself (likely significantly) upside down on your vehicle. You've got to either put enough money down, or have a short enough loan term, or you're going to have a real tough time building any equity in the vehicle. You might not plan to sell it...
