Has anyone tried anything to help deaden the sound with the soft top. I was thinking of some sort of foam maybe around the top of the frame. Love my Rig, but man the soft top sucks.

Don't do it. Mine did it without asking and sprayed something on the tires that kicked up all over the body and took my detail guy hours to clean it off.

Guess I'll be a soft top forever. I appreciate the cost of doing business, but I can't imagine spending that much on a hard top. Fortunately here in SO CAL there won't be any top on for most of the year anyway.

That's kind of what I figured. I wanted manual as well, but wanted 2.7 and my other car was shot, so I needed a car asap. So I had to compromise.
