Just went for a drive and confirmed this is a problem.
2022 Outer Banks, factory LED tail lights, Morimoto XRGB headlights. Came to an intersection, turned on my left turn signal, came to a complete stop. Auto start/stop engaged, meaning the engine turns off, and my left turn signal started...
Glad to hear the problem was confirmed at least. Though it sucks you're having an issue with your new headlights, and banging the top of the headlight seems like a temporary solution. At least you have a nice long warranty if you get it unstuck and the problem comes back in the future.
I can only go off the pictures and videos I've seen of the headlights since mine only just shipped today; however, I believe the passenger side is fine. That's the normal beam pattern. See the pic below @4x4TruckLEDs.com posted of their passenger side low beam:
Definitely something wrong with...
He means the DRLs, not the headlights. It does seem like you can see the individual diodes in the DRL diffuser on the Morimoto's, but I haven't seen them in person.
Do you have to be connected to the lights before you can pull up the RGB values? I can't seem to get them to come up on my app, just seeing if I can get it setup while I wait for my lights to ship
Your setting for the white DRL looks great! Any chance you could post screenshots of your RGB settings so we can match them? Hoping to receive my set sometime next week.
These look great. I've been (im)patiently waiting for mine to get shipped from 4x4truckleds. Can you give an update once night falls on the light output?
So Morimoto's done with their QA testing on the units heading your way? Hopefully that means you'll be able to start getting them shipped out by the end of this week!
Hey, I did the exact same install as you. B&O, Kicker 6.5" CS's in the Mabett pods. I've been underwhelmed by their performance. Can you post your audio sliders? Maybe I'll copy yours to see if they sound better to me :) thanks!
