Experienced this as recently as yesterday. 7MT Black Diamond. Most times when I come out of the shop it's back up and running. Never had a 2 day disaster like you've had, though I work from home so my mileage is limited to primarily weekend driving. 7200 in almost 13 months of ownership.
I see significant difference when using eco mode running around for errands. Live in a pretty hilly area and with eco I am getting 19ish mpg and normal gets me under 17 mpg.
During the process I received all updates directly from Ford. I'd pop into the dealer every couple of months to see if he had any updates. After it was built the only correspondence I got directly from the dealer is the phone call they gave me the morning it showed up on the lot.
Easy step by step guide:
1. Build a time machine
2. Go back to your early 20s and spend as much time as possible in college dive bars with live music, the closer to the speakers the better
3. Repeat for half decade at minimum
4. Adult til Bronco release
5. Buy Bronco and have no issues with...
4dr BD 2.3 manual owner here, just adding my $0.02 to say you won't be disappointed in the 2.3 manual. Like others I'd see if you can swing te advanced 4x4
Well, I haven't driven my Bronco since November 16, 2022 due to repair work.
Of course that repair work involved surgery on my shoulder and the rehab has been slow and steady. Should be driving again in a week or so.
All but one of my cars in my life has been a manual. Learned to drive on a '90 manual Bronco. I'm not doing a ton of off-roading, mostly gravel/dirt roads. Bronco is a lot better at getting me to remote trailheads than my Charger was.
Black Diamond for washout flooring/MGV and manual trans. Don't do enough hardcore offroading to need the sta-bar disconnect and set a budget and refused to go over. Learned to drive on a manual Bronco so was determined to get a manual Bronco once they were announced.
This thread states that a bunch are showing up in Kansas at MSRP

I forgot to add it when I updated my order to a '22 model (did order it for my '21). At no point since my delivery have I thought that I really missed/needed it.
7 MT owner here. Sport mode definitely makes the engine pepper and is noticeably different than eco or normal mode. it's up to you as to whether that's a benefit or not. I certainly enjoy it.
It's not even close to the Charger I moved out of, but never expected it to be. It's absolutely liveable at highways speeds, and that's w/o any headliner. If Hothead gets their liner to market soon I'll probably install that after winter (rotator cuff surgery next month so it's a lost...
I forgot to choose it when I updated my order from a 21 to a 22 on my BD. I was a bit disappointed when I picked it up, but I've been fine w/o it. Probably going to do a Hotheads headliner with their sound deadening once they releas it for the Bronco. It will be far superior to the factory...
