All of our jacks have a solid bottom for that reason. It keeps debris out of the working parts of the jack while also giving it a large footprint to rest on in soft conditions.

Yes the gear plate has nutserts that are predrilled for some popular accessories and can be customized for whatever you'd like to mount. They have anchor points that attach as well.
