  1. Badlands Non-SAS - Your Thoughts & Pics?

I had exactly the same worries and I’m really happy with my non-sas Badlands. It’s everything I wanted. I particularly like getting the BFG KO2s standard too… and keeping crash bars. I don’t think you will regret passing on sas - but if you do you can always fix it aftermarket. Good luck!
  2. đź›  3/7/22 Build Week

Advanced Shipping Notice - like when FedEx gets the waybill, but doesn't have the box yet. I like your definition better. Definitely feels just like that.
  3. New Rock Sliders - Shrockworks

I don’t, And honestly I think its going to be a bit hard as the factory rock rails consume the ideal mounting points for sliders. I think these sliders by Shrockworks are the route for me. They will do the job of a rock rail, a slider, provide a nice step and look great - especially when...
  4. New Rock Sliders - Shrockworks

I think you are thinking of sliders from a different manufacturer. Their compatible with rock rails solution was abandoned and their non-compatible version is not quite ready for market and does not have a top plate.
  5. "Here's the Latest On Your Vehicle" spam email from Ford

Speaking as a professional marketer, there is a case to be made for leaving it alone. That is an option for managing a short term one-off embarrassment. Or if you are really convinced that you will fumble the fix and make it worse. That is the only time you just hope it goes away. And it...
  6. "Here's the Latest On Your Vehicle" spam email from Ford

The real sin here is that this hasn’t been retracted or fixed. Mistakes happen. There are even going to be times when you just can’t do anything right. But you damn well get that team back in the second you realize it’s gone wrong and you clean up the mess you made for the brand. There...
  7. đź›  3/7/22 Build Week

Looking at posts from recent build weeks, I've seen several people getting their photos within 7 days.
  8. Picked up my wife’s 392 Wrangler. Some comparisons to my First Edition Bronco

  9. T-Boned! Is it totaled? Too soon to tell... :(

Very sorry this happened to you. Glad you are OK Thanks for posting this too. I have to say that it looks like your Bronco took the hit beautifully. As a former JK Wrangler owner, a side impact was my biggest fear…. Not so here. Be well, and I wish you a speedy resolution!

  11. IIHS Says Official Bronco Crash Test Results to be Released Next Month

I am not an expert, but to my knowledge the function of the crash bar under discussion is to force the wheel and tire down and away from the passenger compartment in the event of a small overlap front impact, preserving the driver or front passenger’s leg well and preventing entrapment. See the...
