Will have to check if it’s dry tomorrow. Just got back from the dealer when I took this and they detailed it. Might have had some water in the cap from washing. At least I hope that’s what it is:unsure:
Oh man I know exactly what you mean. First time I drove the 2018 F150 Raptor I was going 75 down the highway and hit a seam leading up to a bridge and I thought the backend was going to fly out into the other lane. I’ve felt nothing like that in the Brap. It is a MUCH smoother ride than a Jeep...
No hard top rattle here but have not had it off yet either. Only took the front sections off so far.
Confirmed that Aux 1 controls the spots. Here are some pics of the covers and lights.
Sub woofer rattle has been fixed. Had to take the sub out and insulate behind it. It was actually hitting up...
Not sure if there is an option to turn off the seatbelt reminder. Will have to check that one in the Settings. I did figure out how to turn off the annoying reminder to check the back seats for passengers every time you turn off the vehicle. I don't have kids or animals I might forget back there...
I will grab a pic when I get the vehicle back. Mine came with covers over two of the lights in the bumper that have Raptor logos on them. If you pull the covers off you will find the spot lights that are turned on by the Aux 1 switch apparently. Only supposed to use them off road.
Oh man thank you for this! I just have not had time to play around in my driveway with all the settings. When I get it back I'll give this a shot. Much appreciated!
My toolkit was just in there laying on a seat when I picked up. Was actually surprised it wasn't just stored in the cargo area rather than loose on a seat. I could see where one could end up missing for sure. Interesting that you have the Performance view from vehicle start up. Have you ever...
So here are a few updates. Leak is definitely a back window gasket. 3-5 days to get the part. Will have a tarp over the backend with all this rain coming but at least they found the problem. The couldn't identify the source of the brake squeak or replicate it. I'll see if that presents itself...
Also I did find that I can turn on the fog lights by pushing in on the circular light control knob. I don't think that controls the spot lights though. I'll have to get out there and mess with it tomorrow and report back. Was just hoping someone already knew that answer.
I'll grab some pics when I get it back. Hopefully today. When I turn the Goat Mode switch to different selections it does pop up with cool moving graphics but settles in to the normal view with is the tach on the left and speed on the right with the Menu going down the middle. It just changes...
Got my vehicle last week and took it on several long trips already. Absolutely love the vehicle. Drives much better than anticipated. All I have to compare it to is my current 2018 Jeep Wrangler 4 door Sahara and the 2018 F-150 Raptor I owned previously. It is MUCH smoother on the road that the...
Here is a new one. Mine has been delivered by train to within 80 miles of my dealer. Been there for over a week and they are now waiting for a truck to pick it up and drive it down here. Dealer has no control over when the truck may be there to pick it up along with 10 other vehicles they...
This was greatly helpful. I was able to use the automated NS system to get an update without bugging a human. Will be in Delaware by 5pm EST this evening about 85 miles from my dealer.
I have my railcar info from Norfolk Southern but not sure how to track it. What is the automated system you are referring to? I called and they wouldn't give any tracking info to anyone but Ford or the dealer.
