So a while back I posted asking about pulling an Airstream Basecamp (about 2,680 dry weight) and got a ton of mixed feedback from some people saying no way to others saying no problem... now I've found this trailering thread and it looks like a lot of people are trailering with no issues. I'm...
For someone that doesn't know how these ratios work, I'm reading that the Basecamp 16 is almost the entire capacity the Bronco can pull and that the Basecamp tongue weight exceeds what the Bronco can do.... are you saying a Bronco CAN pull and Airstream 16? What about in the high altitude in...
Does anyone know if a 2.3 MANUAL Bronco can pull an Airstream Basecamp? Specs don't look like it, but I'm hoping I'm misunderstanding because I really want to buy a Basecamp and take it from Austin and across Colorado this summer... too heavy???
You bet -- within a half a day, I had multiple interested parties, sold my wheels and tires for $1,600, but in hindsight, probably could've gotten more for them... still drives GREAT BTW.
Just got my Bronco and am selling the factory 33” BFGs and Bronco wheels. Driven only around 300 miles around Austin (street only) before I got my lift and new setup, so they are in perfect condition.
Will ship at buyer’s expense. Happy to share additional photos…. Thanks for looking!
Great shots… Moab is incredible, just spent a week there living out of a buddy’s 1998 Land Cruiser (my Bronc arrived the week I got home)… question on sleeping in the bronco, fold back seats down but how did you level out the area to the trunk space?
Just installed the Maxlider Stage 1 lift kit on my non-Squatch Badlands… hoping to keep my stock wheels and put 35” BFGs on it… anyone tried this to see if they will fit?
Anyone else want to get rid of the Badlands orange highlights in the interior of their Bronco??? It’s too much for me… any ideas on how to dull things up a bit, make these gray or black?
