I did mine myself. You need to remove them while the tire is off to make it easier. I also needed to loosen the bumper for the front bar, but I have the base bumper. I am putting the stock tire back on this weekend for a road trip. It's an all-highway trip so I would rather have the better fuel...

running the same rims on mine with KO2s

if you are keeping the stock rims you should not have any problems. I went with aftermarket rims with 285/70R17s and due to the offset I had to remove the crash bars. Factory offset is -55mm my rims are +6mm.

I have a Big Bend Non-SAS with 285/70R17 KO2s they fit no problem. Tail light mount is the same as Base model.
