Wondering what the worst case scenario is if the rear cargo area gets soaked? Doesnāt seem much to worry about if you have the back seats folded up beyond the speakers and sub. Seems that 2 doors might get a little more water inside just based on the Bronco design.
Just installed mine, really like this location.
Ran into one issue which is most likely a result of my lack of wiring experience. Hopefully someone can help me out.
I had my oem license plate light already pulled through the tailgate and behind the spare tire so I ran that directly to the DV8...
In the same boat here, rear passenger went out on me with less than 20,000 miles on it. Dealer says they are back ordered on top of it. Only up side is the bronco seems to still be stable and drivable but certainly not ideal.
I live on the east end of Long Island and drive on the beach regularly with my badlands non-squatch and do not air down at all, havenāt had an issue yet.
Has anyone installed this Havoc bumper? Looks like a nice design but canāt find any photos of it installed:

Add me to the list, came out from work with a small puddle directly under passenger side rear shock. Less than 20k miles. Pretty disappointing quality from Bilstein, a company I generally hold in high regard.
Scary to hear other people are having long term issues like this. My Bronco has been at the dealer for almost three weeks and no one seems to know what the problem is, even scarier.
I had this happen after installing cowl lights but was not quite this severe. Went back and ordered a mounting plate that crosses the seam of these two pieces and helps keep it all flush.
I ceramic coated my top. If you are doing it yourself I recommend testing a small area first and leaving it for a bit to make sure it doesn't effect the coloring. Mine looked great at first but aft a rainy day the plastic looked old and tired. Luckily this has since gone away but it freaked me...
I have the trailrax unit you mentioned with the side mount and itās great. They also offer just the side mount if you donāt want the full roof rack: https://www.trailrax.com/collections/ford-bronco/products/pak-rax-kit-for-the-ford-bronco
A lot of the photos Iāve seen of these units it looks like the daytime running lights are segmented or not a clean solid line of light the way the oem lights are. Is this true or is it just the camera playing tricks?
Alright, you guys convinced me, placed my order. Was trying to hold out for the fun-haver bumper release but the havoc bumper really ticks all the boxes. They are having a little sale right now if anyone is on the fence.
Mine have been on since February and holding up surprisingly well. Install is a little tricky to get on perfectly. Intended it to be a temporary solution but they have lasted through beach drives and power washes.
