  2. Hard top tapping / popping sound

I am having a similar issue. Mine pops from the location you mention, but also from over the driver left shoulder but it is the same cause that you mention in your initial post. slight undulations in the pavement or a more drastic dip in the pavement under one of the front tires. Seems to be...

  5. Bimini Mesh Top Comparison Showdown: Help!

I love the JTOP. The reason I went with it is the ability to leave it on under the hard top. Now I remove the hard top and attach the two front hooks and I am good to go. Quality is great.

  9. High package question

I was in the same boat as you when I was ordering. I ended up going with the high pkg and I am so happy I did. I use the 360 camera all the time just for parking and it really was nice when I was on the trail! Also, CarPlay is much nicer on the 12" screen.

    Bayou Bronco Club

I used Robinson Brothers. They were excellent. Go ask for Jason King. He is the sales rep I dealt with and was very straight forward and honest. I ordered my 2022 OBX in October and it showed up in March. When I ordered mine they have 70 orders in the pipe and I got mine pretty quick. I think...

  12. OBX on Alpine Loop - Animas Forks, California Gulch/Pass, Hurricane Pass

My wife was scared after watching the videos on YouTube. It looks a lot worse on video and she was not the least bit scared when we were on the trail. The route we took was very tame. There were a couple of shelf roads but to be honest, I was more nervous on the 550 from Ouray to Silverton. LOL!
  13. OBX on Alpine Loop - Animas Forks, California Gulch/Pass, Hurricane Pass

Two Maps. The top unaltered is the map of the Alpine Loop. The bottom map has our route in purple.

  15. OBX on Alpine Loop - Animas Forks, California Gulch/Pass, Hurricane Pass

It is definitely harder to breathe, but I have not had any issues as long as I stay hydrated. Learned my lesson on a trip to Denver a few years back. You should constantly drink water. In the dry air you are sweating and not realizing it because it evaporate so quickly.
  16. OBX on Alpine Loop - Animas Forks, California Gulch/Pass, Hurricane Pass

It is beautiful. That was my first off-road experience and it was one of the coolest things I've ever done.
  17. OBX on Alpine Loop - Animas Forks, California Gulch/Pass, Hurricane Pass

Thank you! Fuel Covert 18" +20mm offset, 275/70/18 Ridge Grapplers, no lift. Did great on the trail. Only scraped once because I misjudged the height of a big rock and took the wrong line. :)
