Thanks! I am still driving mine luckily and was hoping I wouldn't have to give it up for long during the summer. I doubt I will know the outcome until winter though since mine never makes the noise once it is warm.

Sorry I may have missed it somewhere in the thread already but about how long does it take for the TSB to be completed (day, week?) The dealership was ordering the parts this week and it sounds like mine will be the first one they will be doing this on.

I had the original version of these steps that unfortunately did not make it through the winter (I was the only passenger 99% of the time and all 4 rusted and chipped) and even created rust spots on my rock rail. Tried to bead blast them and use a bedliner but the bead blasting didn't work well...

Agree....I got it for the warmth throughout the winter, less road noise was just a bonus. On/off is pretty simple but not needed for me since I care more about the easy access to open air over a quiet ride.

Just took mine off Saturday because I missed a perfect day in 50-60 with sunshine to flip the top open. Sunday was 20 degrees and 20mph winds. The difference is amazing! But sorry it will stay off until November in hopes of warmer weather.

Can anyone give any feedback on this style of bimini from Mabett? Not impressed with how my Gearshade bungees and attachments held up last summer (plus broke a few pieces when installing my Dirty Dog headliner for the winter).

Got to join the cracked windshield club, 10 1/2 months and 9500 miles of ownership. Didn't even sound like a rock....just heard glass crack :unsure:

That was my plan before this became available, but I doubt I could have been crafty enough to keep the blanket from shifting around all winter. Besides the bungees on the gearshade have been breaking and I have been debating other options for next year anyway.

After driving with it for 2 days up 60 mph in about 15 mph winds it sounds pretty quiet. I mainly wanted it for heat and even though it wasn't too cold, the fact that I put my window down when it was 50 yesterday does say a lot for someone like me who is always cold.

Mine arrived yesterday and got it on tonight. I have a gear shade. Had to remove some of the gear shade parts for this to work and actually lost some pieces in the process. I guess in 6 months I will have to figure that out if I use the gearshade again. I also have the sms exposed racks. Had...

my passenger side ones came off quickly too, Stickerfab sent some new tape and that still didn't work. I re-attached with remaining extra tape and will let it sit for winter now, don't normally have passengers and I am sure the top will be on until June now so maybe they will be good by then.

Can I assume that orders placed last week will ship next week?

Just placed the order.... then just realized I forgot to take into consideration I have the SMS exposed racks 🤦‍♀️I guess I will find out if it works when it gets here. I am mainly looking for the extra insulation especially with the wind I get so heres hoping 🤞

I have the gear shade as well but one of the front bungees broke a while back and I never got a response from gearshade for a real fix so I am thinking about the DD version since it looks like it covers more. Would definitely be interested in a bundle deal

Following in hopes of getting one soon... looks like you need to put the top completely down in order to put it on correct? I don't have a heated garage and do not want to try taking the windows out once the cold arrives.

So that you can keep the doors off. Actually had some bad rain with the windows out and it wasn't too bad with a retractable cargo cover but if i had kept the doors off it would have been a disaster.
