Velocity Blue looks great on a full size Bronco and on F150 in my opinion. On the Escape....no thanks. I did not like VB when I first saw it on an Escape. Then saw an F150 and full size bronco on a dealer lot and loved it. For me, it is the big boxy style vehicles that make VB stand out and look...
2.7L, 4 door Big Bend, soft top, non-sas, 4.27 rear with locker, stock 32" tires, no lift.....averaging 20mpg (according to vehicle cluster) using 87 octane. Normal Goat mode, combined hwy and in town, moderate - normal driving style and acceleration.
get a 2'x4' piece of plywood or MDF, cover it how you like, sits right on top of the ledges on either side of the cargo area in a 4 door Bronco. It does not extend all the way to the tailgate. You can secure it if you want with brackets. Also could add some sort of secured lift door at the open...
Yes I plan to go. 7:45am arrival time in the rear parking lot of Old Chicago Pizza if other Bronco's want to meet there before pulling into the movie theater lot for the car show
For sale: Asking $140.00. Basically New. Bronco rubber all weather floor mats for front and rear. I ordered them with my 4 door Big Bend. Also purchased Husky mats. I decided to stick with Husky. There is nothing wrong with the factory mats and they were removed after 1 day of installation. I am...
Beaman Ford in Dickson, TN. is who I used. Kept their word for MSRP sale and did not try to add anything else or force me to finance with them. I had a good experience. Ken Godwin is the internet sales guy that I worked with from start to finish. Also, it only took 6 months from order to...
I just tied into the lead speaker wires from the radio at the kick panel speakers, then ran the wires back to my amp and connected to high level inputs. You can use a high-low level convertor to attach RCA cables to the low level inputs on amp if needed or preferred.
Kick panel speakers lead...
The sub I installed is just a truck type angled enclosure box with powered sub: Kicker PT250 10" subwoofer with built in 100 watt amp. Purchased at Walmart for $199.00. A picture of it isn't anything special in my Bronco, just sits in the back behind the seats.
SPEAKER UPGRADE:
While the wait was happening I bought new speakers to replace the factory dash, rear and kick panels based on all the complaints about the base stereo speakers. After taking delivery of my Big Bend, I didn't think the speakers were all that bad at low and normal volumes. But...
Mine was listed on dealer website along with 6 others that were labeled "coming soon". No pics, no window sticker links, showed MSRP. The dealer said Ford automatically lists them on the website when they are built and soon to ship.
