  1. Extra long hitch versus hitch extender

It doesn’t matter how you extend it, the distance from the end of the receiver to the ball is all that matters. The longer that lever arm is, the more twisting load you are putting on the frame member. That being said, there’s quite a bit of factor of safety built into those numbers.
  2. Anyone try this $19 light bar from Menards

Funny you should mention Nilite, I just installed their flood pod lights, pretty bright and work great. Wired them to Aux 5&6.
  3. 2023 Wildtrak 4-Door - Wanting to Tow Camper

Go for one of these, fits the specs of the Bronco pretty good and there is plenty of room for one or two people. If you get the Sport, it’ll also get places a 20 footer would be a bit tight. Sun Lite 16 BH
  4. Weight distribution hitch?

I agree with you on the WDH. Certainly not needed on a 3000 lb trailer if it is packed right, and even mild off road conditions will start to break things in a hurry.
  5. Weight distribution hitch?

Just remember to account for articulation, if the rear wheels are in a dip, things get a lot closer
  6. Weight distribution hitch?

It was with mine, it was an electric jack, but I think the manual ones were a similar height.
  7. Weight distribution hitch?

If you are getting a lot of sag, you are probably going WAY over the 350 lb tongue weight capacity. Get a scale and measure it before setting out. In the USA, trailers are heavily biased to the tongue, you almost certainly will need to load heavier things to the back to get to the 8-10% range.
  8. Weight distribution hitch?

Not true, if you go over 12” you reduce tongue weight capacity by 25%. That’s what I intended to do, but unfortunately, the backup camera sticks out farther than the spare.
  9. Muddy water fording alternator issue fix: TSB 22-2392 -- Mud Accumulation in Generator

Check with your dealer, Ford often compensates people who paid to have it done.
  10. REV match with FORSCAN??

Have you been able to try it yet?
  11. Fewer hero switches better??

I found a better use for the empty spot.
  12. 7MT Club

Welcome, takes nice long drive on some nice back roads, and then grab yourself a beer from the clubhouse kegerator.
  13. Phone microphone unclear over bluebooth?

That’s good to know, so it has the potential to sound good. Mine is terrible and seems to vary. I’ve got an appointment next week to have it looked at.
  14. REV match with FORSCAN??

I agree, the 7MT is a dream and shifts up thru the gears incredibly smoothly - Rev Matching would make shifting down thru the gears incredibly smooth without learning, practicing, practicing, and practicing heal-toe technique or using the “hold in the clutch while you brake for the light ahead...
  15. Bronco Really Likes First Gear - I Don't

Just push in the clutch, pull the stick back, and let out the clutch.
  16. Does the Front Trail Cam make you sick?

Try switching to the multi-view mode. It makes the front view smaller and adds in the 360 degree view. On the 12” screen, the front view is almost larger than life and with the camera much closer to the ground, it makes it seem to move faster.
  17. Roll bar brackets

They will be selling a complete hard top soon. Not sure on timing.
  18. Roll bar brackets

I think those are for the hard top - but I could be wrong. The soft top Broncos come with a "Hard Top Prep Kit" which includes the switches and wiring for the rear wiper and other components.
  19. Post your 2.3L Bronco Ford Performance Calibration Tune review

Is this true about being able to run on 87 Octane? The disclaimer in the paperwork seems to indicate that "any issues related to running below 91 octane will ineligible for warantee repair". I am really almost entirely interested in the Rev Matching feature, it would be great to "juice it up"...
