Update on the situation. The repair shop was unable to do anything with the alternator. That leaves me at the hands of everyoneās favorite, ford parts. Itāll sit at the dealer until we can get a new alternator or I can find one through an alternative solution.
ā Technician has verified that bronco does indeed need an alternator. It too is saturated in dried up mud and not a warrantable repair. Estimate: $1191.29ā ā The part is $513.13ā
Unfortunately Iām not.
2.7L. Sunk the front left in nice sludge. Iāll have a write up soon. Imagine a straight line from the back right wheel to the front trail sight. All of that was under. Left side completely fine. Iām going to do some in depth research tomorrow looking at possibilities. Havenāt had any luck with...
Yeah Iāve got a local shop that a bud has work with in the past looking at it tomorrow. Iāll be sure to update yāall. Seems like there has been others having alternator problems who like to play in water as well. More so than there should be.
My 2021 Badlands is in need of an alternator. Sent it too hard, story time to be posted in the coming days. Dealer says itās on national back order. Happy to install used until I can get a new one if need be. If anyone has any leads it would be much appreciated. Iāve ordered three from various...
I make sure to drive around for a couple days to show off the good work. Although every couple weekends I go and get it dirty I still get mud from cracks and crevices that I know are from sinking it. Just part of the game!
I have. Here in east TN lots of switch backs and tight turns. Some turns that would normally take 3/4 turns takes 1/2 with Trail control. Rode with a friend who has a rad jeep and he enjoyed to see it at work and appreciated it.
Ordered a week ago and just saw they are on the way! Do you have the P/N for the retaining clips on the grille cover by chance in case I break some? Iāve had to take the grille off before and busted two on accident.
