Yes it must be your door alignment, I have the very same ones that say 1966 and there is no rub when you close the door. I try never to step on my silly, but know that it will happen occasionally!
I've been running the Walker Links close to a year now and have nothing but positive things to say about them. You do get a bit more sway in the vehicle but nothing crazy. My buddy took his sway bar completely off and you really feel the sway in it. Articulation wise it has helped a lot, not as...
Oh yeah, a friend of mine has one of the old farm/railroad jacks all painted up to match the hinges on his jeep, looks god awful, at least too
me! The Badlands Jack does look nice but really is not worth the effort.
Yes it's subtle but definitely different. Possibly it's a softer, I like to say looser feel. I like it and definitely feel it helps the off-road qualities.
I'd like to know that also! I've been running them for nearly a year now and check them ever once in awhile and have not seen any signs of leakage. I'm not sure if there is any amount of fluid in them that would show if the seals go bad.
That Badlands Jack is just too big, takes up too much room and adds more weight to an already heavy rig. Buy a good hydraulic bottle jack and forget it.
No, I don't think there is any negative impact to driving on the street and traction off road IMO has improved! The best way I can explain it is the suspension feels looser but not in a bad way. No I don't think she felt it was worse just different, maybe she felt a little more body lean going...
You definitely can feel a difference, and how much is subjective. My wife didn't know I installed them and on our way to Colorado she asked me if I had done something as she said the ride felt a bit different especially the on and off ramps. I could feel a difference but had I not driven it...
Read this whole thread, they have some articulation numbers on like the second page. Problem with those AC Fab disconnects, the heim joints start to wear and get really loud. I've been running the Walker links for nearly a year now and have nothing but positive things to say about them. You...
The frame horn reinforcements from ADD just look thin and cheap but I also thought the ones that Ford provide with there winch mount don't look overly beefy. But the engineers must think they are sufficient. The ones Tricky made look like the real deal! Tricky you better raise the price and...
I also contacted Tricky Mike about his frame horn reinforcements and yes I was told they were not offering them anymore because they weren't cost effective. His looked like pieces of art they were so well constructed! I decided to build my own out of .250 gauge plate, not as pretty as Tricky's...
I don't give a damn what you call your videos, I'm more interested in what is causing you to break axles! There maybe no binding but your CV"s at full extension are at an extreme angle and are going to cause excessive wear at an accelerated rate! Even driving down the roads and you hit a pothole...
