Yeah, the chip shortage is real. My wife's Chevy Traverse waited 3 months to get one. This was bound to happen as Ford ramped up production on the Bronco.
I switched to a soft top for a few reasons.
- Didn't want to wait
- Hardtops were having their share of issues, so even if I got a hard top I was I going to get something I wanted on there for years?!?!
- Decided to get the car now, and have the convenience of the soft top, while waiting a year...
