I have this same issue as well...the bucking bronco, 1st or 2nd gear and intermittent. Does it when it wants whether it be hot or cold motor, hot or cold outside, it just takes a notion to start bucking. I can switch gears or put the clutch in then let it back out and it's usually fine...
I have this issue, too. It’s too intermittent to take to dealer without them keeping it for days. I hope Ford comes up with a fix soon because it’s just plain irritating 😠
Did this work for you? I put OBX on my base and tried the hazard/lower pressure and the brake/stop-start button with no luck. New TPMS sensors were put on them before I got them and a friend visually saw them get programmed but I still have the error.
Just for some added insight it was ordered from a small, rural dealer 10/14/21. Base with absolutely nothing but mud flaps, floor liner and key pad. I don’t know how much impact the simple build has.
I’ve noticed it changes when status changes or something gets done to it. Mine changed when it went from blend date to build date to built (done)date to shipped date. The date followed each of those dates. I also looked at a window sticker for one on a dealer lot and the date at the bottom was...
Thank goodness no pressure to finance through them. A week ago I told them about the base price difference (which they told me they’d honor and I have the screenshot from ford about it) and told them I wanted the bottom line figure so I could get financing lined up. I still don’t have it, I’ve...
Ok, we had almost identical experiences. I was young, lost my hard earned good sized down payment when I traded. Kept that Nissan for 8 years until I got pregnant and couldn’t fit 2 adults and a baby in it. I told my husband if this fell through, I’m getting another Nissan truck. 🤣
Good lord! You had the same experience as me. When I traded mine I was just hoping the Nissan dealer didn’t notice all the problems and took whatever they gave me to get away from the ranger. And it was my first new car and my first car purchase. Left a super bitter taste in my mouth.
I feel ya! In 1985 I bought a “base” ranger with nothing, 4 on the floor (no fancy names back then). It was a hunk of junk after 1.5 years, ford would not fix it and I even had my keys thrown at me by the service department after I told them I wasn’t paying for warranty repair. I traded it for...
