Photo says it all - middle and left are the same size tire (albeit different load rating)
Nothing will be a better street tire than the GY. Extremely light weight, quiet, soft load rating.
Anything from a tier 1 aftermarket supplier will be more capable in the rough stuff. There's a ton of...
Biggest ticket of my life was from behind a NY state trooper. Nothing was getting me out of that stop.
Revenue generation machine at work, that’s why I don’t go crazy for these law enforcement Broncos. How many people got fleeced at the margins for that department to get their badlands?
Running 275/65 here as well. Should have come that way from the factory. Many more P rated tires in that size than the more popular 275/70 upgrade. People have gone larger on a stock obx but I think it looks funny without a lift.
I run 275/65R18 on my OBX and the tires just kiss the sway bar at full lock. I personally wouldn’t go that much wider without changing the offset of your wheels.
275/70 is by far the most commonly done tire upgrade on the OBX if you want to keep everything else stock. I’m totally with you on...
Awesome, the load rating is exactly why they have my attention. Saving 10+ pounds per tire compared to E Rated has to make a difference in daily driving. How much lift do I need?
Enjoy the trip! My beach permit in NJ has been a blast.
Agreed, I don't think it's differentiated enough from a sasquatch bronco to justify the increase. Go put 37's on a Wildtrack and call it a day. You even get spared from those fender flares.
The voltage readings had nothing to do with your battery dying. I think there's a huge draw on these Broncos (even while parked in your driveway). My battery will be dead after 10 days of not driving it regardless of the condition.
Pretty damn underwhelming for a vehicle you need to rely on for...
Soft top is loud at those speeds, these no sugar coating it. I run a dirty dog headliner in the winter that does a nice job of dampening the sound.
The huge tradeoff is you can flip it at back any time and enjoy some sunshine. My obx does not have the mod bumper. It would’ve been 1000x easier...
