I see that and I immediately start wondering whether to defuse it or to blow it in place. Looks like a bomb in a briefcase. However, mad respect to you for figuring out how to make something that someone wants to charge you $2500 for. Kudos sir, I applaud your efforts.
My concern is that I am going with beadlock rings when I replace my Goodyears with General Grabber X3 37s in a few months. If I have to align again due to mishap or parts wearing out, I hope I can find a shop that can do it. Otherwise, I will have to learn how to do it myself with a tape...
I didn't post the rest of the story because it has nothing to do with wheels, but, they couldn't even get the alignment done. Their machine would not align any vehicle after 2020. I had to take it to the dealer a few days later and get it completed. At least they didn't charge me for the attempt.
So, I finally got around to installing my perch collar lift on my '22 Badsquatch. I couldn't get an appointment to get an alignment for about a week after installation. When I could finally get in at the alignment shop, they called me 3 hours after I dropped it off to let me know I could come...
I have to disagree with the cargo drawer. I agree, the gaps are annoying but I stuffed grey foam rubber in the side gaps and my Maxxtraxx go between the seat and the rear of the drawer. Problem solved!
Is this a " wrong answers only" thing? I love those, I will go first. These are obviously lightweight carbon fiber dive planes that fit to the front splitter when you lower the Braptor for time attack racing.
I have mixed feelings on this one. I adore the HE as is or with tasteful mods. I feel like the dealership could have used a base model and gotten similar results. When you put 20s and glossy painted surfaces on a vehicle, all the rugged "outdoorsiness" goes out the window for me.
Edit - Just...
I roll at 18 for the following reasons:
1. Its soft while keeping most of the sidewall away from danger.
2. It doesn't take too long to air back up to 35 for on road driving.
3. I cannot feel a difference between 15 and 18 psi, so, why go that low.
4. Open to going lower for snow wheeling.
I have a full blown Icon suspension setup on my wife's 4Runner and it is "the shit". Rides very smooth, hits overgrown speed bumps (the big ones that are like a foot high and 4 feet wide) at 35 mph without spilling her pumpkin spice latte. I haven't taken it seriously offroad yet, but have hit...
