Prior to owning a Bronco I had an 2017 2.3 Ecoboost Mustang which I quickly traded for a GT, and a 2018 F-150 Supercrew with the 2.7 Ecoboost. The Mustang was awful, the truck was fine. I test drove a 2.3 four door before ordering my first Bronco. I went with the 2.7 because it feels like a...
Iāll admit I didnāt think of the increase in rock chips after removing the side steps. I didnāt have any trouble with the 2021 with the smaller tires so it wasnāt on my mind.
Now I have to decide if I want paint damage or ugly mud flaps.
A few observations after driving our Heritage Edition over 600 miles this weekend:
The hardtop and tires make this one much quieter than my 2021 soft top with Firestone M/T2ās
The ride is much smoother and bump absorption is much better.
The fuel economy was worse than the 2021 which I would...
I think the issue here isnāt the vehicle itās the current pricing structure. My wife has a 2021 Bronco Big Bend that had an original MSRP of $44k. Two of my adult daughters have 2021 Bronco Sports (BB for $32k and OB for $35k) and all three of these vehicles were priced accordingly at the time...
While I donāt have direct experience with Ford I did have a Jeep that was down for two months due to parts availability. I was financed through Chrysler Credit and they reimbursed me for the two payments I made while the vehicle was out of service.
I have had co-workers opt for an extended...
During a recent snowstorm I believe I uncovered a āsecretā G.O.A.T. mode because when I attempted to shift into mud/ruts mode to disable traction control the vehicle made a terrible noise and I lost 4WD. I called it āfainting goatā mode. After waiting two days (!) for a tow truck the dealer told...
Caskinette Ford in Carthage, New York.
Great deal, generous trade allowance, excellent communication.
The only thing that canāt seem to do is get me the rock rails I ordered six months ago.
It is amazing that there are priority codes beyond āstock orderā and āsold orderā at all.
Why would any manufacturer add complexity and confusion to the product ordering system?
It really should as simple as āis this vehicle already sold or is it for inventory?ā
Maybe Iām just simple myself...
I paid for all the numbers on the tachometer and I intend to use them all!
Same goes for the speedoā¦
Oops, forgot I was on the Bronco forum and not the Mustang one.
While I agree this is a shitty thing for any dealership to do we all must remember a few things:
1. MSRP is what the manufacturer suggests the vehicle should sell for. The final transaction price is between the dealer and the customer. Once the vehicle hits the dealership the manufacturer no...
Every single entity in the world that you buy anything from is selling their product for one reason - to make a profit. In that respect the car dealership is no different than your local grocery store, gas station, utilities provider, etc. I think the main difference is the ability for the...
I have a Mustang, the Bronco is my wifeās vehicle.
Two of my adult children have Bronco Sports and one has a new Explorer.
My father drives an Edge, my brother has a Bronco Sport, and my mother just got a new Lincoln Corsair.
If we have a family gathering our driveway looks like a Ford...
