Lucy is a work in progress, but couldn't be happier I did the extra leg work to find her. She was an abandoned order and replaced my ice mountain orphan. The kids and I are making her improvements together.
Powder-coated the oem wheels gloss black. Put hood struts on her already. Black...
Cancelled mine once I found another one that wasn't stuck on the mountain. Hope Ford doesn't ding my dealer for my cancellation and gives me a chance to tell them why. I'd be even happier if he still got it in stock to sell once/if it does get finished in a couple of months. I like my dealer.
That's what I was hoping to hear, so I guess I'll find out once the weather allows it. With the Jeep top, the weight was less of an issue than the size of it.
Wondering if anyone who's had a 4-door Jeep hardtop previously and has a 4-door Bronco hardtop now can speak to the difficulty of removal of the rear section. It's smaller, so I assume at least a bit lighter, but is it reasonably manageable without a hoist? It was as struggle on the Jeep I...
As am I. I just want something I can hear with the top off. Was concerned about them not handling whatever the B&O was throwing at them and blowing. Maybe I should read up more on what the RMS means.
Thanks for the definitive advice on upgrading the B&O. Wasn't sure focals would fit, so I was leaning toward kickers instead. Questions:
1) Any concerns re: the RMS/Peak RMS on these being too low (particularly on the 4")? I have no idea what's running to them.
2) Did you splice the 4", or...
Absolutely love them. Just the right amount of shine to them. HUGE impact on the overall appearance of the vehicle.
After seeing the finished product, the dealer decided to do it standard to all incoming OBXes. Good news for the local shop they used to do it.
Best way to get this question answered is to call Ford. I had similar goofiness with a ship date on another build. They are having issues getting trucks out on time, and I was only aware of the bumps I was given after calling. Switched from null on palsapp to having dealer info for a day, then...
Good morning y'all.
Potentially have to decide between a BD and OBX in the next couple of days. Just wondering if the ride quality/comfort is discernably different in a BD from other trim levels. I haven't gotten to drive a BD yet.
Thanks.
Interesting. Came across a few dealerships with several Broncos with huge markups in Ohio when I was looking, too. I just assumed they were buying other dealers' Broncos and flipping them (i.e. paying a $5k markup for someone else's, then re-selling at a $15k+ markup). Most dealerships seemed...
We don't know what our ice mountain orders are missing. Some of the missing parts bay not be "non-safety non-critical". I've run out of optimism during this process. I'll just wait and see.
