So I ended up just mounting the LED to the passenger side speaker grill. This is by far the easiest spot to mount it. If you end up mounting it here, you could install everything in about 30mins. The hardest part is getting the speaker grill off. You can drop the LED wires straight down to the...
I agree. Whoever originally mentioned mounting it on the dash speaker speaker grille was 100% right. Those grilles are a $20 part so if you screw one up, just order another one. Best to do it on the passenger side so you don’t have to lengthen the LED wires.
There is room on the dimmer panel...
The wires for the LED are only 3 feet long. So unless you’re going to mount it somewhere on the passenger side or center dash, you’re going to have to lengthen the wires….at that point you might as well add a quick disconnect at the LED end so you can unhook it if needed to o move whatever panel...
I have the little jumper cable for the remote start I can mail you. I have a MT so no remote start for me.
Mine worked just plug and play. Make sure you’re giving it some time to arm before trying out the shock sensor. The instructions posted on here make me believe it takes about 20-30...
Those are the spots I was thinking about mounting my LED. Below the window switches on the center console is my current favorite. (I have a 2dr). Really curious to see how yours turns out.
Thanks for posting those instructions 👍. I like your idea of installing the light on the drive side dash speaker grill. Please post a pic or two and let us know how it was to install and run the wires when you’re done. I still haven’t installed my light yet so I’m curious about the different...
I believe so. My bronco is a manual so no auto start, not sure if that makes a difference or not. I just plugged mine in and it seems to be working. If I set the alarm and tap on the hard top with my fist the alarm goes off. I don’t have that blinking alarm light yet so not sure how that’ll work...
If you cut about an inch off the packaging it came with and use those command strips you can do a clean install that’s easily returnable to factory. It’s also pretty well hidden, when it’s turned off you really can’t even see it unless you’re looking for it. There’s a piece of trim right above...
I did not take it out (looks to be 4 nuts holding it in place, one looks difficult to get to). I laid on my back in the footwell…..There’s also a clip on the back you have to push in to get it to come out. You’ll seen the clip on the new Y-harness. I had to push in the new one pretty good and...
Excited to see your new Bronco security devise.
As you know, I already ordered your pedal lock….
What do you think about the Ravelco setups?
I’m 95% sure someone copied my key fob the second day I had my Bronco….. not going to get into the details here but everyone needs to be very aware of...
This seems to be the ultimate security system:

Watch the first video to the right on their sites main page. I think Broncos could be a target for key FOB cloning….
I did it last night and the shock sensor seems to be working as advertised. Once I knew where to plug it in, it took a few minutes to install. Don’t have the little flashing light yet and not sure where I’ll be mounting it.
So I think it just plugs into the bottom of the “gateway unit”.
You unplug the current harness that at the bottom of the unit, plug that into the new Y harness, plug the other end of the new harness back into the gateway unit, then plug the smaller end of the new Y harness into the shock sensor.
Cool product. I’m only interested in the pedal lock feature for security.
This is probably a stupid question but: If I arm the peddle lock and turn the car off, does the peddle lock feature stay locked after starting later? In your demo the car is never turned off.
So I arm the peddle lock...
Someone here’s gotta be able to post the Bronco specific install instructions for this thing. Getting behind the glove box is easy. I’m just not sure which wiring harnesses need to be used. Also not sure how to secure it.
My local dealer just told me I’d have to leave my Bronco there for...
