Here is what the OP is referring to. See the red cylinder? That is where there is a gap that is between the edge of the mic panel and the roll cage. On a side note, this is a perfect ledge to grasp onto when the panels are off and the windows are down/doors are off.

It locks with the spring wave. The spring wave makes it more solid in my opinion than the factory plug which just quarter turns and has no tension.

I can’t remember the internal diameter I used but it is listed on their site. I did zip tie it on and it makes it easier to put on and to stop the flow when just trying to drain a small amount.

I learned the hard way about why they include the rubber pieces to put on the lip of the doors for removal/install. I now know EXACTLY where to put them since I am missing paint.
