We did the same. Numerous issues but ultimately the soft tops lack of quality led us to sell. I hope to get another bronco after some years of production have settled in quality.
I 100% agree problems were expected. My issues of:
-numerous rattles
-top delamination
-top fabric stretch (could see daylight at highway speeds over passenger doors)
-mirrors making a lound whistle over 45mph
-head unit display locking up and glitching several times a day
-rear door sagging...
I dropped a bunch of cash of a bronco I was disappointed with. I'm sure I'm not the only one to have this option. This message board isn't exactly all glowing reviews and people drinking the Ford Kool aid. I stand by my statement that Ford QC didn't hit the mark on this vehicle.
#1 Sorry to upset you with my opinion
#2 As stated in my post, I am interested in keeping up with development because I still have interest in another Bronco depending on future improvements.
I sold my bronco for this reason. This generation Bronco was far from meeting my quality expectations at the price point. Everything that broke had long lead time or no eta on repair.
I will however gladly revisit the platform after a few years of production and maybe a refresh. I'm a big...
There are exceptions in many states that also give forgiveness when parts are not available. Look up videos on YouTube from Steve Lehto, he is a lemon law attorney in Michigan with many videos on the subject.

The softtop has mechanical flaws for sure. I'm hoping for a recall and an updated version of it. The fabric is super stretched out on mine at 5k miles. Flaps and rattles plus with a widewind at highway speeds you can see daylight the sides lift up so much.
Popping, strut failure, too short hardware, scratched roll bar. Took mine off and tossed it! Good feature and plan but didn't work out for me. I put some blame on the design of the soft top. I'm not convinced it will not be recalled at some point in the future. Definitely needs help 🙏
Looked at mine this morning. It is coming apart as well.
This on top of creaking at the top/rear cross bar, sides flapping over the doors, and yellowing. I'm definitely not happy with the oem soft top. Ford needs a recall on these and replace with the besttop
@IAG Performance I just installed my new brackets from the rubbing issue. With the new position my struts no longer lift the soft top on their own. The top does stays up once lifted though. Is this normal?
Also was there ever any resolution to the clicking noises
