  1. RokBloks Flaps (Spare Front Left)

Installed a set of RokBloks original flaps on my Bronco BD. Somehow lost the front right, all the others are on fine. Cannot order only one, for whatever reason, so had to re-order front pair. Expensive things. If anyone has installed and lost/damaged a front left (flap and mounting hardware...
  2. Location & Parking Tracking

Google is your friend here. Fuse 20. Truck no longer allows any modification of "connected vehicle settings" and just reports em as off, so I thought I'd killed it.. But those parking locations dont make me so sure any more.
  3. Location & Parking Tracking

So here is a fun one. I pulled the fuse out of the telematics module, as I'm one of the people who simply doesnt feel the need to have my car report back to ford every 8 minutes. Not long after I did this, I noticed that the navigation system was tracking every place I had parked the truck on a...
  4. Soft Top Roof Rack Prototype -- any interest in this?

Agreed, flat offers more options. Maintaining holes means can still do something as simple as toss ratchet hooks thru holes, without limitation of 49 inches. Depending on the price tag, please add me to the list o' interested parties.
  5. Rear Bumper Sensors and Bike Racks - Beeping Nuisance

Nope... Literally every rear assist/park assist (as well as lane keep assist, pre collision assist, parking assist and every thing else I cound find) is off. I dont see any menu options specific to towing. The cross traffic alert seems to turn back on while the rest of the nanny/assists stay...
  6. Rear Bumper Sensors and Bike Racks - Beeping Nuisance

Folks, I've seen references to this issue in other threads, but havent seen a definative fix yet. I have a 22 Black Diamond with the Mid & Tow Packages. I'm also a cyclist and have added a bike rack to the back (Kaut Pivot 2 with a 1Up HD). As such, the truck starts alarming and beeping every...

  9. Taking Bronco Offline - disconnecting cellular / telematics connectivity (Technical Discussion, Please)

i Under Settings/Connectivity/Connected Vehicle Features then turn Vehicle Connectivity off. Sweet! Thank you for sharing the info. I'm very happy to see Ford allowed this type of option to customers.
  10. Taking Bronco Offline - disconnecting cellular / telematics connectivity (Technical Discussion, Please)

@GoTigersGoBronco, Have you located the TCU module on the bronco? Is it fairly straightforward to pull the SIM card? This would possibly be an even better option than what I had proposed. @Paul Gagnon, Can you please provide screenshots? YOu are saying it is possible to disable all cellular...
  11. Taking Bronco Offline - disconnecting cellular / telematics connectivity (Technical Discussion, Please)

Agreed, but I will prolly even kill the option for OTA updates, as I am not personally wild about things like Amazon Alexa being pushed to the system. I'm guessing Ford will not provide an easy "off" button to stop things like software updates.
  12. Taking Bronco Offline - disconnecting cellular / telematics connectivity (Technical Discussion, Please)

Folks, I'm hoping to start a purely technical discussion on disconnecting the cellular/telematics connectivity within the Bronco. I know there are strong opinions and a lot of riducle that hits this specific topic, so I'm asking if we can please keep it to technical discussion on HOW, and not...
  13. My first time taking the 2 door hardtop off by myself

Dont have my Bronco yet, do have a '73 Scout II.. That top is solid metal and heavy. Takes a bit of work up front, but a cheap(ish) weight-rated electronic winch hung from the roof (hung from steel bar, mounted across 4 of the rafters), and a quick/simple 2X4 cradle for the top with a D-ring in...
