Well, I picked her up last night. Shout out to Crossroads Wake Forest, no shenanigans, everything went smoothly. I'll be making some relatively minor modifications over the next few months as I'm really impressed with some of the after-market stuff that's coming out; but, frankly she's pretty...
Interesting. I used Crossroads Wake Forest to support my local dealership not realizing using a smaller dealer would create its own problems. Every Bronco I've seen so far has been badged with Capitol Ford. At this point it feels like a complete lottery crap shoot
Looks like our orders are similar with the same build date. Mine says "shipped" though and am expecteing (per Ford) delivery sometime 9/22 (today) thru 9/28. Good luck.
That is a cool color.
Mine's been in "Transit" for 7 days so far. She's heading to Raleigh, NC. The delivery window is today thru the 28th. No assembly line pic so she's still a bit of a unicorn in my mind. Blend date was 9/7.
I'm like you, its so close I can taste it. However, I've been disappointed so many times I'm suspicious that this is another "head fake" by Ford. The result is I obsessively check the order tracker and my e-mail for a notice of delivery.
According to the spreadsheet, all deliveries have been via Convoy. No Rail deliveries yet. I'm Rail and my indicated delivery is 9/22-9/28, so its comming up. I haven't bothered to contact my Dealer as everytime I do I get no real information. I always seem to know more than they do (thanks...
So now I switch from worrying about Ford's (in)competance to the Government's in handling a potential rail strike. I need to accept that I may never get this thing...
