I saw a thread about this issue a while back, but I couldn't find it. This is more annoying than anything, but was just curious if anyone else had this issue.
When using the lever lock on the gas handle to refill, it constantly will pop and stop refilling. I've tried this at a few different gas...
Been thinking about getting one of these, @KRAKEN have you done an install yet? How fast can you get it covered?
One of my concerns was water pooling in the middle of it, but I think with some practice I'd be able to get it off without getting water in the Bronco.
Like other comments, the walk back to it is the best. Especially coming out of work... pretty much every day I walk up to it, I'm like daaaaaaaaaaamn look at this dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully a refresh entails of a new software update for Carplay, as that has to easily be the worst part of my Bronco. 50/50 chance of it actually working upon vehicle start, and 25% of the time it works it takes a minute or two to connect. Other times it simply will not connect and I will have...
I would save the money and do it yourself. Sasquatch builds have complained horribly about how the tires catch and throw rocks into the paint, and say that's one of the first things they've done is... swapped the tires. Apparently the tires are garbage.
I went with a base 2.7L, threw 33's on it...
Glad this thread exists. I took my Bronco in for its first oil change a few months ago at Koons Ford Baltimore. The oil change and rotation took 2 1/2 hours for an appointment I had booked out a month and a half. Not as bad as some people stories here, but even that felt unacceptable.
The...
Lol, I remember when I had to put 5 tires in the back of mine.
Easy answer, I didn't. I put one tire in the back and was like "hell no". Put em all in my truck's bed. If I was going to, it wouldve been extremely tight.
My checkbook :) I went with a base 2D and 2.7L as the only option. It serves my needs just perfectly and there isn't anything extra that I got that I could do without.
Only thing I messed up on was aux switches. I originally thought it'd be a fun DIY project to save some money, but it seems...
That's actually an insane amount of damage on his car for hitting the bumper. Sheesh!
Also, looks like no paint damage? Potentially just a bumper swap?
Nope, never said to worry about it. Simply saying be aware of what's going on with warranties coverages ahead of time rather than being surprised and coming on to the forum and sayin "wTf WHY didnt they cover X??"
Nope, came from a Sierra that had a 25 gallon tank on it, and the same/worse gas mileage. Filling up frequency is about the same as my Sierra, so its all I've known. No big deal.
Some things in life are worth more than gas mileage/# of times to fill up ;)
On my base, the one thing I really like is when the orange fog lights light up when I unlock it. It matches very well with the black BRONCO badge, and it is like it is greeting me!
I have my gripes about it, but I love it, quirks and all.
