I have mine setup in this way and have found that the mounting holes are likely the perfect distance for the RAM setup I have from a previous vehicle. However, the rail mount holes are not the same 1/4-20 as everything else. Will the B.A.L.L.S. have an option to have a 20mm/1" ball mounted there?

Correct - 3 flashes to 5. My default value in that spot is 4Fxx. Not sure if that helps with anything or not.
