My dealer explained it that unscheduled clean meant the only thing holding my bronco from being built is them picking it to build. No commodity or part is a hold up. It was always "in process" before that. Not sure of anything anymore though.
The issue I have is I already have an Alpine 8" subwoofer that's round. I prefer to build my own box to tune it to my liking. Nothing wrong with the options mentioned. Just a preference. If the measurement is 5 inches or greater, I'm in good shape. If it's less than than. I've got some thinking...
Thanks. This verifies what I came up with. Getting a Wikdtrak with the B&O system but heard about all the rattling problems with the B&O sub decided to make my own box. Going to put the amp and dsp in the we'll in the middle of the cargo area. Pretty much going try to keep everything concealed...
By chance you don't have the measurements of the boards you mounted the amp and loc on do you? I'm still waiting on my bronco to get built but want to start building my own sub box. I think I've got my template measurements close from looking at pictures but would like to make sure. I'm going to...
It's just my plan right now. Still waiting for the Bronco to be built and shipped. My plan is to use the sub box that it comes with and swap out the subwoofer.
Very cool and helpful. I appreciate the writeup. I'm going with all Alpine or Audison. Haven't decided yet. By chance, does anyone know or has anyone seen what the crossover frequencies are for the different speakers for the B&O system?
I originally was going with all Alpine S series (I already have most of it) but seriously considering buying all Audison Prima and run it through an Audio Control DSP. I trust the noise canceling Audio Control.
