No, you would want your 12v DC cables matched in length and adequate gauge to carry the amperage pulled through to the inverter.
Alternative setup OP rather than running a permanent system which I've seen are portable...
OP from reading your posts it would seem your looking for an inverter. This allows you to convert your vehicles 12 volt DC systems power through the inverter to provide 120V AC power.
First thing for you to consider.
Take your time in understanding what you want to use it for and then what...

Had a similar occurrence quite a few years back.
Lesson learned
Always keep a couple short lengths of rope handy and stowed for these situations. A rope can be threaded though spoked wheels and made into a makeshift set of "chains" for extra traction. Walked it right out....untied ropes and away...
OP from the looks of the enlarged pic the core and top layer appear to be devoid of any bonding adhesive material.
See if you can pump any info from Ford or as a long shot try the top manufacturer.
