I hope I am close also. Reservation 4/29/21. Ordered 05/15/21.
2023 order confirmed 09/22/22. I have been watching John's post since our orders
are somewhat close as far as Reservation & order timelines go.
My dealer informed me at time of 2023 order being placed that they had 47 converted
2023...
This has been quite an ordeal from the onset. No one knows anything other than we have a Bronco on order. Ford will not tell us anything, and the dealer does not know nothing.
I have said all along that it would be great if we could get some projection with an ETA
of what quarter of the year...
For the life of me I don't understand the hardtop supplier issue.
From the early onset Ford knew there were lots of orders for hardtops.
If Webasto can't build enough tops, why is there not another supplier
to help fill the void?
This has been going on for far too long with no resolution in place
What I really have a problem understanding is
I can go to my Ford dealer to order pretty much
any Ford vehicle, and they will give me an ETA of
(3) to {4} months.
Seems they have no problem acquiring parts for
all other builds, but can't tell us what quarter of the
year on a Bronco.
I want what I want and not what Ford wants me to order.
With all the orders Ford has for hardtops, and the supplier
is having an issue with demand one would think the supplier
needs to find a means to ramp up production (additional plant)
or a second supplier.
There are lots of customers...
I work at a pretty large dealer in metro Atlanta.
I too have a Bronco on order, but it amazes me
the truck loads of Ford vehicles we get in daily.
F150's/Super duty's/ Explorers/Edge's/Escapes.
Everything but Bronco's.
You would think if Ford can procure parts to
build these units they could...
