  1. Front Unit Bearings Safe to run without a CV?

The used one is off a standard Bronco (The Raptor Bronco is larger and made by a different supplier, but is still a formed hub) …the new ones are off a 2wd and 4wd ranger. You can clearly see in all of them how the hub is formed over the seal trapping everything together as an assembly. The two...
  2. Front Unit Bearings Safe to run without a CV?

That is false. I have met the person that "invented" the modern hub bearing during my long career. Todays "Unit" bearings are now referred to as "hub bearings". All Ford truck products are all formed hub and have been that way for over 20 years. Some companies use a tradiational "unit"...

Having been struck by a a car on my motorcycle, here is my feeling on a lawyer. The short answer is...do not do it. 1. If you see a decent lawyer, they will tell you this.... "If they have insurance, you do not need me. If they do not have insurance, come back and see me. I will take 1/3...

  5. Garage Air Compressor and Transair Piping System

So..... you are choking that compressor with the miniscule size of the filter/regulator. In addition, I would never run an unguarded polycarbonate bowl on a a filter with a 175 psi compressor. That should have a metal bowl on it and should have larger port sizes..
  6. Bronco 2-Door on 40's and 7" lift

yeah...that guy may be a decent machinist...but it doesn't look like he knows his way around a steering rack....otherwise he would have known what that piece is that broke off and why his bushing isn't a proper 'fix' . He didn't notice that the effort to turn the steering by hand increased when...
  7. Bronco 2-Door on 40's and 7" lift

His plastic part now it centering the rack to the housing , which makes the lash adjustment between the rack and pinion gear useless. The lash adjuster is what broke off of the housing in this guys one video. By rigidly centering the rack in the housing, his bushing is now setting the lash...
  8. Video: Bill @ Evilletruck goes full send and breaks his Bronco

I do not believe the Bronco has hub actuators. The new Rangers do not.... hubs locked so front Diff/axles spin all the time. Transfer case brings in an out power to front axle.
